Are you our new Chef?

DogStar Brew Lab are excited to be opening a restaurant and brew space in Dunedin.
We are looking for a Chef to join us on our journey to offer a fantastic food and beverage experience.

Tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
● Ensuring all aspects of the kitchen operation are effective and efficient
● Facilitating the day to day running of the kitchen, rosters, staff training
● Ordering of stock on a regular basis
● Assisting in development of the menu and ensuring food costs are well-managed.
● Confidence with FCP & understanding of Health and safety

We are looking for someone who:

● Is an experienced Chef
● Has excellent communication skills
● Enjoys inspiring, training and coaching the team to be the best they can be
● Can be calm and able to stay focused under pressure
● Is positive and enjoys being part of a talented & close-knit team
● Have flexibility to work weekends and public holidays- based on business requirements

This is a full time (40 hours) and ideally long-term position.
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen/resident or have a valid work visa, and be currently residing in New Zealand.
