Feeling tight or stiff? This 4-week course is designed to gently increase your flexibility and range of motion, perfect for anyone new to yoga or looking to loosen up tight muscles.

Join us to learn the Saraswati Prarthana, a beautiful chant that honors Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, and the arts. In this workshop, we'll practice the chant using the traditional call-and-response method, and you'll have the opportunity to record it for practice at home.

The Lunch Break Class! A practice does not have to be long to be effective. Designed to fit into your lunch break, this midday recharge is a 40-minute physical practice followed by 5 minutes rest.

No matter how many legs your dog has, the next time you visit yours, here are some things to consider...
✨ Wrapping your shoulder blades around your ribcage will improve length and strength in your arms, shoulders, and upper back.
✨ Your arms are now legs so along with your hind ones, stand on them firmly to support an upward lift into your pelvis.
✨ This is an inversion and your pelvis is now your 'head'. Pressing into the floor allows you to lighten and lift into the crowning glory of your sit bones.
✨ Don't forget your actual head! Press the back of the head forward and up until your ears are slightly forward of your upper arms, enabling that shoulder wrap and more length and strength in the arms and spine.
✨ Dropping your head towards the floor, or encouraging it towards your legs is counterproductive. It’s what we do most of the time….at the desk, cooking, driving, gardening, working, on our phones...

Who doesn't love Child's Pose during your yoga practice? It's a great way to relieve stress and tension in your body. Not only does it provide a gentle stretch for your hips, thighs, and ankles, but it also calms your mind and helps you relax 😌
Child's Pose is a resting posture that can be done anytime, anywhere. All you have to do is kneel on the floor, sit back on your heels, and lower your forehead to the mat. You can extend your arms out in front of you or rest them alongside your body. Take deep breaths in this position and allow yourself to fully surrender to the pose 🤍

If you're a beginner, consider our Beginner’s Course. It's a great way to learn the basics, so you won’t feel overwhelmed and can confidently join any of our classes.

Every time a headwrap is used at nu yoga studio, it embarks on quite a journey! After each use, we launder them with the best eco-friendly products to ensure they are thoroughly washed and dried. We meticulously fold and roll them, preparing them for the next day's classes. This is a mammoth task that, while it is a must for hygiene, isn't the most eco-friendly practice.
You can help make a difference by purchasing your headwrap from our studio! With a variety of colours available too. By owning your own, you can wash it yourself after every few uses, reducing the environmental impact.
