Dear Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we share some sad news with all of you. Our ex Principal, Sally Direen, a beloved member of our team, has recently suffered the loss of her husband. Our hearts go out to Sally and their family during this incredibly difficult time.

As a tribute to John and to show our support, we are flying our flag at half mast today.

During their time with us, Sally and John contributed so much to our community. They brought their warmth, dedication, and passion to everything they did, leaving a positive impact on all of us.

Losing a loved one is an indescribable pain, and we want to extend our deepest condolences and support to Sally as she navigates through this challenging period.

Sincerely,
Balaclava Staff

The last night at Camp Bannockburn!

Photos from Balaclava School's post 29/11/2023

Today we were super excited to welcome back one of our Balaclava students! This super brave student is Noah Dobier. Noah started at Balaclava School in Room 2 last year. Unfortunately Noah only got to have a few weeks at school before he was diagnosed with cancer. He is now excited to be back with his mates and ready for school! Welcome back Noah.
