Well, it's been another super busy, fun week 😊

Very impressed with the mahi going on the workshops 💥🔧🪚🧰

Our tauira in Automotive have been busy working on their first projects (drawing and then assembling an object to weld), and rangatahi in Construction have started work on their hand tools projects (making pretty cool record boxes) and learning how to use different power tools 🌠

Great skills everyone! Have a awesome, well-deserved weekend 🎊☀️

Just a reminder that next Wednesday, all classes will finish early at 2pm rather than 3.30pm due to a scheduled staff meeting 😊

Lee was so impressed with the mahi in his workshop that he decided to treat his tauira to an afternoon out to the wonderful Toitū Otago Settlers Museum 💥

Activities have included learning how to remove lug nuts, making auto-themed fidget spinners, and learning how to take apart and reassemble an engine 😊🔧🔩⚙️🚗

Activities included how to find out the make, model, mileage, WoF and rego details for the work car; bench testing an engine; and correct use of hand tools 🚗🔧

We had such a special first day of term yesterday! 😊

We started with a waiata to welcome our tauira followed by a rather delicious cooked breakfast 😊🍳🥓 Afterwards, we split everyone into teams to play different games and then spent the afternoon playing basketball.

Such a lovely way to connect again after the summer break ☀️😊

Youth classes start next week!! 😊🥳🎊

Just a reminder that it's our first day of term on Monday for our rangatahi!! We are so looking forward to seeing our tauira again and to welcome in everyone who is starting this term 💚

We'll be starting on Monday with a shared cooked breakfast at 9am, introductions, fun activities and some team building!
