1974-2024 - Fifty years of service to its community for the club celebrated with a special dinner! Our guest speaker was International Director Graeme Wilson, District 202F (Waihopai City Lions - Invercargill).

Our club's second award from the District 202J Convention recently in Ashburton.
This is the Tunnage Trophy for best dressed club at the Saturday night dine'n'dance.
Retirees' lunch today at the Mornington Taphouse Kitchen & Bar in Mailer Street. It's several years since we've dined there for lunch.
Our club won the Clarkson Trophy for the best bulletin and social media in 2022-23 at the recent District 202J Convention in Ashburton.

The Incoming Officers' forum at Oamaru on Saturday, 11 May, attracted one hundred Lions from all over District 202J.

We were visiting the Taipei 101 Tower when we heard the sounds of a dragon dance so we went to take a look. Imagine out surprise to find out it was a Taipei Lions event!

Undertaking the street appeal for Child Cancer this morning at Centre City New World with Margo Evitts on the first shift.
Members provided collectors for today's Otago Community Hospice street appeal outside Centre City New World. Thank you to those members who were able to help.
The club's long-planned-for membership recruitment meeting happened last night with eight prospective members attending and a selection of speakers at the Otago Golf Club, our usual meeting venue. Thank you to SVDG Mike Wingfield for his planning and leadership of this project.
Last Wednesday, we had a long wait for the rowers on the Rowing For Life NZ craft, so we went for a walk along Taieri Beach from Taieri Mouth and Knarston Park.
