All future appointments will be serviced round the corner at 342 George Street (2 carparks available) along Edinburgh Way by our lovely Hayley, Lita and Teressa (our Manager) will be leading the team there.

The Mall’s Block is getting it’s Makeover 👏🏻

You may have noticed the roadworks already this week as they start to replace old pipes.

The Main Street block, between St Andrew Street and Hanover Street will be closed to traffic. Pedestrian access will be maintained & Glow is still open 💜

Wall Street Car Park is still open & so is the back entrance to Life Pharmacy vis Filleul Street.

Please make sure to allow extra time to get to your appointments. We love seeing all our clients and would hate to reschedule any late arrivals.

Why you should be protecting your skin from the sun ☀️

SPF Slows ageing!
The sun is one of the most influential factors when it comes to skin ageing. Whilst UVB rays cause burning UVA rays (which are always present even when it's cloudy) age your skin. They break down elastin which causes skin to sag - 90% of skin ageing is due to sun exposure.

Sun exposure can make skin issues such as pigmentation a lot worse. Yes, if you are trying to treat things like hyperpigmentation and not protecting your skin with an SPF 30 or above, I don't know what to tell you. SPF in your makeup is not enough either.

Ideally you should try an wear SPF everyday, even if you are indoors, as windows do not block UVA rays.
