In 1978 we took premium leathers, used hand-stitching, and crafted 3-eye boat shoe uppers that we combined with our rugged boot lug outsole. It was at that moment, our 3-Eye Lug Handsewn boat shoe was born.

Premium Timberland® leathers resist water naturally, and wear well to develop a unique look over time. Not all leather is made the same. At Timberland we have a rigorous testing and quality control process to ensure each hide meets the Timberland standard and only the top-quality hides are accepted.
