Kiwiskate term 3! 🛼
This class is a super fun introduction to skating. Following New Zealand’s kiwiskate program to learn fundamental skating skills. Each skater will be able to learn new tricks to pass levels in their own kiwiskate check book!
Classes will be running on Sundays from 2-3pm starting on the 28th July.
All classes (aside from week 2 & 3) are at our new skate venue named ‘revolution skate centre’ located at bay park.
Contact [email protected] for more details and to register.
Bay Roller Sports is beyond excited to share some incredible news. After years of dedication, hard work, and passion, our dream of having a skating rink in our city has finally become a reality!
Soon, the purpose-built Revolution Skate Centre will open its doors at Mercury Baypark in Mount Maunganui.
This facility will cater to indoor roller sports enthusiasts, including inline hockey, artistic/figure skating, roller derby, speed skating, discos, tournaments, community events, and more!
Over the past six months, we have been deeply immersed in this project working closely with Bay Venues, with notable support from TECT and Tauranga City Council, and we are now pleased to share this amazing news with the world.
This venture is a joint effort between two well established organisations, Mount Mustangs Inline Hockey Club and the Tauranga Roller Skating Club. The impact on our community and the world of roller sports in New Zealand is going to be monumental!
The skating rink will be 44m x 21m in size and will feature purpose-built inline hockey boards with an epoxy floor, built inside Pavilion 3 at Mercury Baypark.
Stay tuned and follow us on all your social media platforms for more updates.
