New Zealand is in a housing crisis, and Ōtautahi Christchurch is feeling it! Housing is our number one presenting issue and so we have decided to host a housing event for the community!
This event will give people tools to navigate the private rental market and/or remain in their homes. Whether you are looking for housing, supporting someone who is, or are in danger of losing a current rental, this event is not to be missed.

This event is for you if you are:
• Struggling to find housing
• Living in an unhealthy home
• Supporting whai ora/clients with these needs
• Need items for your home
People will be able to talk to; MSD housing specialists, Te Whatu Ora, Anglican Advocacy, Irelands Property Managers, Tamaiti Healthy Homes, LinkPeople, Comcare, and more!
This event will include kai and donations for the home (limited supplies available).

Te Kāhui Tika Tangata Human Rights Commission Housing Inquiry has today released their final report on their Inquiry into Housing: Implementing the right to a decent home in Aotearoa: Fairness and dignity for all. The report identifies 'significant breaches of human rights in the emergency housing system' and lists six recommendations to collectively address these and progress the right to a decent home.
