Today is “Cyber Monday” - marked in the online shopping days as one of the final days when retailers can guarantee postage in time for Christmas.

If you’re shopping online this holiday season, here are some more top tips to help keep you safe:

* Research the seller or company.

* Check contact details, delivery and returns arrangements.

* Check the domain registration details by doing a .nz query search at dnc.org.nz
and a company’s social media presence.
