A dreamy wedding for N+T that had the best kiwi summer vibes! ☀️ These two are super chill and their wedding day was the perfect reflection of them 🥰

These two were married earlier this year in Feb at . Their ceremony was set in the olive trees, they had the tunes going with on the guitar, and tones of pinks and purples weaving through the florals by which flowed into the reception space. It was so damn pretty!!! 💕 and all captured by the very talented

Everything went so smoothly, and the day felt relaxing, effortless and truely in the moment, plus that late night-outdoor fireplace - dancing under the stars - is SUCH a vibe ✨

These two asked me to plan their wedding while dropping it low on the dance floor at another wedding 😂 and I knew from that moment that we would be in for a wild ride!

A glorious winter day, the drinks were flowing, the sounds were on point, and they danced the entire day 💃🏻 They had the most EPIC reception entrance, a heartfelt Haka, and the bride herself singing with her besties like a goddess has us vendors in awe during dinner.

February magic with A+M saying their I do’s under the stars ✨ Their evening ceremony had such a peaceful feeling, and the heartfelt words they shared made everyone melt 🥹

Their weekend long celebration was full of guest entertainment with lawn games, canvas dart art, an incredible magician, tons of music, lemoncello shots. plus so many other special moments.

These two have the biggest hearts full of happiness and excitement! I loved working towards their colourful celestial wedding ❤️

The heat is kicking in today and I feel Summer approaching!!! ☀️

For all of you summer brides, this season or the next, here are some things to remember for your big day:

• Shade! I’ll start by promoting an indoor ceremony that has air con because that’s literally a dream on a hot day! 🙌 For outdoor ceremonies and drinks hour you can have umbrellas, a marquee, stretch tent, gazebos! Give your guests some areas to get out of the hot sun! Plenty of trees that create shady spots is a big win.

• Sunscreen and bug spray - nobody wants to get burnt or bitten at a wedding so have a couple of small baskets placed around for guests to use. If your ceremony is outside then put some on the welcome table for guests to use before your ceremony.

•Water! To be available before the ceremony, after the ceremony, and for the rest of the day! We don’t want any dehydrated guests so please make sure you provide for them especially for outdoor ceremonies. Even if the bar is closed before ceremony, always make water available.

Just a final note that majority of male guests wear pants and a shirt 🥵 so even if you think it’s not “too” hot, just know that the boys are sa-weat-ing so providing h2O will reduce how quickly they drink away your bar tab 😅

Queen Elizabeth II ❤️ RIP

She married Prince Phillip on the 20th of November 1947, and her gown had a 15ft train and 10,000 pearls. She wore a tiara gifted from her grandmother which broke on the wedding morning and had to be fixed by a jeweller before the ceremony.

The BEST start to February with Apryl & Shane’s seaside wedding, down at our local Mana Cruising club! They wanted to party, and boy oh boy did they party hard! Most weddings end at the venue, but not for these two 🥂 The party went back to their place and continued into the early hours of the morning 🙌

I met Apryl 7 years ago on the netball courts, and being paired up to do some ball drills we quickly bonded on how much we had in common ❤️ From that moment we’ve been such close friends!

Once these two got engaged I was so honoured to be part of planning and coordinating their big day. The room waa full of teary eyes, laughter, and overall joy for these two. I’m beyond stoked for them to now be husband and wife.

Cheers to you two for a life of happiness and days at the pub 😘

I don’t know about you but I absolutely love detail shots 👏🏼

So here’s 5 categories below to have ready for your photographer to capture on your wedding day:

〰️ Staring with my post pic, Perfume/Cologne! You might be wearing your favourite scent, or a brand new one for your wedding day, but include it in your shots!

〰️Stationary! You could just have a copy of your wedding invitation, OR you can also include the rsvp, details, envelope, the stamp you used. (This is also your reminder to print extra copies ☺️)

If you chose to do electronic invites then you could always do a mock up of one invitation to include

〰️Jewellery, this includes wedding rings, engagement ring, earrings, cufflinks, hair piece, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pounamu, traditional or cultural pieces.

〰️Flowers, your bouquet - yes! And if you have any loose stems or petals then hand those over too!

〰️Attire. Your wedding shoes, veil, if your groom got some cool socks for him and the boys then add these in too, belt, suspenders, you get the idea 🤩

Planning your perfect wedding is no 👏🏼 easy 👏🏼 task 👏🏼

There is a TON of moving parts that need to work together

SO

I really recommend getting organised from the start to reduce stress and feeling overwhelmed during the process. 💃🏻

1. A WEDDING EMAIL.
Set this up asap! Do all of your vendor comms and sign ups through this. And then when your beautiful wedding day has been and gone, you can just delete and say goodbye to that email address!

2. GOOGLE DOC!
The idea of updating, saving and sending back and forth makes me cringe!! For real! Use a google doc, create tabs for different things like your key details, vendor info, timelines etc and share it with your fiancé, anyone helping you plan your wedding, and some of your key vendors.

3. WEDDING WEBSITE.
Now I love wedding stationery, but managing rsvps by post? No thanks! Getting a ton of emails? Yeah nah.
My favourite way to manage RSVPs is to have guests respond on a wedding website. Guests can also check this platform for more information closer to your big day. Some websites cost and others are free 🤩

4. EXCEL.
Please, please! Set up a budget. Use excel to document your wedding item wants and needs. Add estimated costs, reshuffle priorities to work through costs, track spending and add in new items as required.

5. TRELLO.
I LOVE Trello sooooo much!
Trello is an ultimate task management system that’s easy to set up, and pretty to work on. It allows you to add tasks with checklists for managing your wedding planning 💃🏻

• Buy your shoes before your dress alterations, and take them with you

•Skinny heels on grass can sink so remember to buy heel stoppers for you and your bridesmaids if you’re walking on grass for your wedding!

Yes, each photo consists of a lantern BUT that’s not what I want to talk about 😅

Let’s chat table florals/greenery options for your reception! 👏🏼

1st - A floral wreath. This could surround a photo frame, a table number, yes - a lantern, or a candle. I’m feeling elegant people!! ⚡️

2nd - Scratch flowers and opt to go for greenery styled around the centrepiece or a greenery table runner. Great option for woodland or forest themes. 🤩

3rd - A small, yet beautiful bouquet using only a handful of stems that represents your wedding colours. Pretty and poppy 😍 love!!

4th - Single stems in glass jars. Such a simple and pretty touch. 🥰

5th - A table runner using greenery with flowers laying through it to make it pop 😍

I’m a sucker for a table runner so as much as I love them all, number 5 is my fav in this line up! 😍
