Am late to posting but as most of our customers are aware in recent times the cart has been taken in to the hands of Carlee!
I am so grateful for all of the support over the previous years and am super excited to take on new adventures!
Carlee you’ll do amazing, we’re so proud of you for taking on this new challenge!

Good morning Kapiti! Today marks a sad and exciting day where we say goodbye to Kaias coffee cart and start a new adventure as the perk up the truck. I would like to say a massive thank you to Kaia for making this happen and also a massive thank you to our wonderful customers for all of the support! Come and grab a nice warm coffee to start your day perked up!

As many of our customers are aware now the coffee cart will be moving into the hands of our awesome staff member Carlee!

This week coming there will be a few little things to celebrate, on Tuesday our legend customer Martin is going some baking for people to enjoy, so make sure to get down for a coffee and a chat.

I’ll also hopefully be popping in throughout the week to catch everybody before the handover to Carlee aswell.

I can’t describe how grateful I am for having had the opportunity to provide for an amazing community of customers. The support over the last 2 years has been insane and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Especially to our staff Amelia, Carlee and Bailey who have kept the show running while I’ve been off having a crack in another industry. These girls have and do keep the place ticking and always prioritise the cart and customers, couldn’t ask for any better!

To Merryn and Andrew thank you guys so much for allowing this cart to grow and allowing a space for people to come and enjoy coffee!

So excited to see where this new chapter goes for Carlee, I know she will carry on creating an awesome space for the community to come and get there morning fix!

We are looking for a new staff member for the new year!

The job will consist of 15 hours a week, 2 week days from 5.45am-1.15pm.

We’re after a cheerful worker who’s up for a good yarn and can make a good coffee for our awesome customers.

However we are happy to train you if you’re the right person for the job!

The cart will be closed over the Christmas Holidays so don’t be worried when you see it dissapear from site for a little bit.

As a result of high winds the cart will be closed today, we’ve been down this morning and tried what we could in order to open up and make it work but it’s just not comfortable or safe enough for staff and customers. Sorry to any inconvenience, we’ll see you all on Monday bright and early for your morning fix! Stay warm ♥️

As of tomorrow (Friday 24th) the coffee cart will begin closing at 1pm, sorry to any of our arvo customers who this may cause inconvenience too, but we’re still keen to get through your coffees on lunch hour!

I’ll be up in Levin serving to an awesome crowd for the Hurricanes first game this year! A preseason game against the Crusaders. Make sure to get down there and support (the best super rugby team👀)…

As a result of some of the forecasted weather and winds tomorrow, it may result in the cart closing. I’ll be down there early in the morning, 6am start, and we’ll do our best to stay open, but we don’t want to risk any wind damaging the cart or causing any harm to customers, so we will monitor it closely. If at any point tomorrow we are forced to close it will be posted up!

We’re currently not parked up at our usual spot but don’t worry we will be back from Monday the 16th next week, for another awesome year! It’s been all go these last few weeks, so sorry for the lack of updates via social media! But thought I better get our Christmas hours posted up for everyone to prepare!

Our final open day of the year is…
Friday 23rd December, open 6am - 12.30pm
Our reopen date is
Monday 16th January, open 6am - 3pm
Normal hours then proceed

I hope everyone is preparing for a much needed break over the holidays. We’re looking forward to seeing you over the next 2 weeks for your coffee fix before we break off for a bit!! ♥️♥️
