Smoked Balsamic Vinegar Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon of smoked balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 slices of your favorite bread, toasted
Fresh herbs such as cilantro, basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Mash the avocado with a fork or a potato masher in a small bowl.
Drizzle the mashed avocado with smoked balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the avocado mixture on top of the toasted bread.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately
This is a delicious, easy and healthy breakfast or lunch option. The smoky flavor of the balsamic vinegar pairs well with the creamy avocado, adding a nice depth of flavor. You can also add some diced tomatoes or crumbled feta cheese for more variety. This avocado toast can be served as is, or with a side salad for a more filling meal. Enjoy!
