Join Executive Chef Jonny Taggart (Kisa, LTD.) and the team at LTD. as they comically bumble their way through classic French cuisine, confusing language and translation with what they know instead. Expect sausage roll meets Pâte en Croute, Chocolate Moose, Beernaise and other almost-there attempts that would make Escoffier roll over in his grave. An exploration of the history of Pacifica cuisines and the foreign influence on each nation by chefs Siaosi Tavita-Brown (Kisa) and Jonny Taggart (LTD, Kisa), from French in Tahiti, Indian in Fiji, and Chinese in Samoa. This will be a night of learning, experiencing, and understanding just how these cuisines and their varied influences have been moulded into the flavours we see today as being traditional. Ticket price includes five courses plus snacks.
