We're excited to showcase the incredible talent of Jacob Davey in our ongoing local art exhibition here at Sanctuary Cafe! Jacob is no stranger to the art world, having honed his skills under the guidance of the esteemed Dr. Robert Jahnke at Te Putahi a Toi, Massey University in Māori Visual Arts.

Jacob's artistic journey has been enriched through collaborations and exhibitions alongside renowned artists such as Shane Cotton, Israel Tangaroa Birch, Ngatai Taepa, and Racheal Rakena. His distinctive style involves working with mixed media and experimenting boldly with Gold Leaf, resulting in pieces that beautifully capture light and texture.

His latest collection draws inspiration from the serene beauty of Oakura Beach, exploring how the sunrise paints the sky with hues of light and casts enchanting reflections upon the sea.
