If you have worked in an environment where you have been exposed to loud levels of noise, you may be eligible for funding for hearing aids from ACC. If you are eligible, ACC will contribute towards the costs involved in purchasing, maintaining and repairing your hearing aids. They also cover the cost of your hearing aid batteries. ACC will provide funding for replacement hearing aids once every six years, if you need new ones.

Hearing aids need to be properly maintained to ensure their best performance which is why you can visit your local clinic and have a free clean and check anytime, no appointment necessary.
