10 LESSONS ON FINANCES: π―
Add income or aim for higher compensation. Kaya natin 'yan.
3. Follow this MONEY FORMULA:
Income - Savings = Expenses
Unahing itabi ang ipon kahit gaano kaliit. This way, you can build the proper habit and mindset.
Use 14-day rule.
6. Zero debts = Peace of Mind.
7. BUDGET - you cannot improve something you don't measure.
8. Must learn to live BELOW OUR MEANS. Don't go broke trying to look rich.
9. MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING, but we cannot deny the fact that we NEED money to live comfortably. So, SAVE and INVEST properly.
10. Life and health insurance are not expensive, death and illness are. Be financially protected.
You can change your life and financial status with proper mindset and disciplined actions. Let's use the remaining 6 months to have financial growth!

While resources, luck, background and connections undoubtedly influence individuals success, the most crucial factor that drives meaningful achievement is self-belief. Without this key ingredient, all other elements may fall short in propelling you towards you goals.
To set yourself on the path to success, it's essential to acknowledge that your brain may sometimes work against you, manifesting in procrastination, self-doubt, negative thinking and anxiety.
However, the sure-fire way to overcome these obstacles is to refuse to believe in their power and instead wholeheartedly believe in yourself.π

A: First, Praise God dahil He keeps you healthy. Then to answer your question, hindi sayang ang iyong health insurance. Why? Dahil most of the health insurance policies ay may kasamang life insurance. In case you did not get sick, your beneficiaries can still claim your life insurance proceeds in the event of your passing.
We can't be certain if we'll get sick or not, but one thing is for sure β we will all pass away eventually. That's why your health isn't a waste even if you did not get sick. π§‘

3. PhilHealth coverage from the Government

Thereβs a common belief that business is always better than being an employee. Sabi ng marami, lalo na sa social media na itβs best not to work for anyone or that itβs better to be a boss. Donβt be fooled! Hereβs why:
First, God did not design us all to be a boss. Because if all of us become bosses who will work for us, eventually, businesses will close. God is the one who gives us opportunities, whether in business or in employment.
Second, itβs not about which is βbetterβ or βworseβ pero kung ano ang plan ni God para sa atin. Whether we are an employer or employee, Siya ang magbibigay sa atin ng opportunities. God gave all of us dreams, passions and purpose. No matter where you are in life, He has a plan for your life.
Lastly, God will give us the direction if we seek Him. He will guide our path, for His purpose and for His glory.
Remember, Who you are is not what you do. Who you are is what God says you are. Enjoy the process of seeking God and finding the purpose that He designed for your life. Godbless π

Comparison is NOT WISE βΌοΈ
Kaya pala when we compare, mas lalo ito nagiging cause ng ating worry. This includes our comparison sa status ng finances natin sa iba.
Personal Finance is βpersonal.β There are biblical guidelines on finances can be followed, but what could work for others might not work for you.
At the end of the day, Godβs plans for each one of us is unique.
Itβs a reminder for us not to keep up with the trends kahit hindi kaya ng budget
βFor we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.β 2 Corinthians 10:12 NASB1995
Q: βI have a 10-year VUL plan and 5 years na ako nagbabayad.
It should be for protection first (life insurance) than earning thru investment part. Ang fund value or investment part ng VUL ay dapat ituring na βlong term savings,β meaning funds na pwede mo mapakinabangan in long term (more than 10 yrs). Kung ang ating goal ay mapalago ang ating savings, VUL is not the right financial instrument. After 5 yrs of contribution, hindi pa po talaga magpapantay ang ating total deposits to fund value dahil may insurance charges po tayo binabayaran na usually mataas for the first 3 yrs ng insurance policy. Ito po ang binayad natin kapalit ng ating peace of mind na if ever something happens to us, ay meron matatanggap ang ating family from the insurance company. MP2 is a great financial instrument for us to grow our savings, while VUL is a great tool for life insurance with long term savings.
P.S. If you have additional comments na helpful sa question, feel free to message me. π§‘
"What is a sinking fund and how does it work?
Hereβs the explanation of Dave Ramsey:
βA sinking fund is a strategic way to save money by setting aside a little bit of money each month.
Hereβs how sinking funds work: Every month, youβll save a certain amount of money for a specific purpose to use at a later date. That way, youβre saving up small amounts over time, instead of having to come up with a big chunk of money all at onceβ
Here are some of the sinking fund ideas.
Start saving little by little today!"
VUL is insurance with investment.
But VUL isn't just insurance with investment. It is more than that...
1. It is a means for your family to live comfortably in case you are suddenly taken out of the picture.
2. It is a means for you to live comfortably in your retirement.
3. It can be a source of funds in case of critical illness or disability.
4. It may finance your children's education.
5. It may finance your dream car, travel, or house.
6. It can be a substitute for Mortgage Redemption Insurance.
VUL is a versatile investment. We can talk more about this in a short financial planning session.

Pwede pa bang Mag-Apply ng Life Insurance Kapag May Sakit?
Pero this is better than not having life insurance at all. You may contact your trusted Financial Advisor for more details regarding this.
It usually depends on your sickness. Thatβs why itβs important to try to apply first, then declare your health conditions truthfully, then The underwriting department of the insurance company will decide whether your application will be approved.
Here are three possible outcomes for your life insurance application:
Approved Standard: Your application is approved without an increase in premium or modifications from your original insurance coverage.
Approved Rated: Your application is approved with an increase in premium or, in some cases, with modifications from your original insurance coverage.
Declined: Your application is not approved.
If you find this useful, please don't forget to follow and share.
