Your heavenly Father knows your every trial. He is acquainted with all your infirmities. He will be to you an ever present help in time of need and He will withhold no good thing from them that fear and love Him.

As one gives of that which he has received, his capacity for receiving is increased. As he imparts of the heavenly gifts, he makes room for fresh currents of grace and truth to flow into the soul from the living fountain.

Unless we shall drink of the water that Christ gives, we cannot improve our own situation or of those that are around us.

The Lord is prepared to do great things for us, but we must be prepared to receive these things by emptying from the heart all self-sufficiency and self-confidence. The Lord alone is to be exalted.

If the mind is educated to contemplate heavenly things, its appetite will not be satisfied with that which is cheap and common.

A spirit of judgement means we have not surrendered to Christ and have thus not been transformed. When we totally surrender to Christ, He will fully transform us and we will be filled with His love; the love that transforms rather than a love that is judgemental.

The presence of the spirit of judgement, criticism, censoring in the heart, is the absence of the love of Christ. Love shows pity, it blesses, it helps and seeks to save.

God is more than a donor. He seeks a relationship with us. He wants to give us our daily needs but also wants us to benefit from dwelling in His presence. He has opened the door of His kingdom, for all seekers of truth.

The more we resist any light that is given us of God, the more it becomes hard for us to resist the snares and deceptions of the devil.

A careful study and strict obedience to the word of God plants our feet on sure foundation, which neither flood nor storm can sweep away.

It is strange that people will allow a sense of their sinfulness to keep them away from the Lord, when Christ came for the one purpose of receiving and saving them. He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him.

He who puts mind and heart into the work of studying and searching scripture, gains a solid, valuable experience.

All who study the precious utterances of God’s word will have strong consolation. If they will feed upon the banquet of God's Word, they will gain an experience of the highest value. They will see that in comparison with the word of God, the word of man is as chaff to the wheat.

When the Lord sees our earnestness in striving to save souls, He will give us the grace and the power to enable us accomplish that work.

It is God who blesses men with property, He sends the sunshine and the rain. He causes vegetation to flourish. He gives health and means to acquire resources; and He does this that we may be able to give toward the advancement of His cause.

Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will never betray your trust.

Whatever diverts the mind from God, whatever leads to self-exaltation or to self-dependence, is surely preparing the way for our downfall.

It doesn’t matter what evil character we come to Christ with, but as we tirelessly follow Him and press onto Him, faithfully taking on his rebuke, chastening and instructions, we shall be transformed just like the Apostles were.

We work so hard and spend so much to facilitate life, but the most important need of life – Jesus, is free of charge. And in the end, all but a relationship with Him is what counts.
