Project AYAT is advocating on Inclusive Education. Project Ayat believes that every child can learn The four “H”: Head, Hand, Hope, and Heart.
The four H made me realized that there is a great need for our learners with special needs to be included, not just mainstreamed in our schools. Inclusive education is including every learner. It is not a program but a philosophy. It is not a class for learners with special needs but a practice. This is not for teachers who have knowledge, training and experience with learners with special needs b
Help Others See the Able, Not the Label
Every child has unique strengths and abilities, and children with disabilities are no exception. Let’s shift our focus from what they can’t do to what they can achieve. By recognizing their talents and potential, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. Remember, it’s not about the label, but the incredible abilities each child brings to the world
INCLUSION is not something we should make a case for. We should NOT have to convince other people of the value of BELONGING.
Let us be KIND and ACCOMODATING dear Teachers.
Thank you for sharing your quote Amanda Morin, Author and Consultant
"We, teachers, must see in kids what they don't see in themselves. Let us see them for what they can be, not where they are, and then teach them accordingly. We may be the only hope in the lives of many of our students. Let us believe in every single one of them every single day!"
--based from James Vint's post.
If you know an individual who can talk freely at home but freezes up in public settings or who seems excessively shy, you may know someone with selective mutism. Selective mutism is an anxiety disorder characterized by a person’s inability to speak in certain social settings such as at school, work, or in the community. People with SM are typically able to speak comfortably and communicate well in other settings, such as at home with family.

A Perfect Teacher, Curriculum, and Lesson Do Not Exist
In the world of education, perfection is an illusion. We are all works in progress, constantly learning and evolving. Our goal should be to do our best for our learners, whether they have disabilities or not. Let's focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Together, we can make a difference by being adaptable, compassionate, caring and dedicated to continuous improvement.
Our job is NOT to prepare students for something. Our job is to help our students prepare themselves for anything.--A.J. Juliani
Inclusion in education aims to provide equitable access for all students, including those with disabilities and diverse learning needs. It involves removing barriers that might hinder a student's progress and ensuring a respectful and supportive environment. When classrooms foster inclusivity, all students benefit by learning in a safe space that values and celebrates diversity.
When we champion inclusion, we're not just opening doors; we're building bridges. These bridges connect hearts, minds, and dreams. They say, "You belong here," to every child, regardless of their abilities or differences.
Let us not give up on them. Who else can help them but us teachers. Let us not stop caring.
Pls. watch.

As the school year draws to a close, we are faced with important questions regarding our learners with difficulties and learners with disabilities (LWDs): Have they succeeded? Will they be promoted? In the event that they are retained, we must reflect on whether we have provided all the necessary support they require.
Should it occur that our LWDs are considered for retention, it is imperative that we evaluate whether this decision will benefit them, or conversely, cause harm. Whatever our final decision may be, it must serve the best interests of the learners.
Our aim should not be to retain students simply because they have not met our standards, but rather because they require additional time for growth and development, for learning, and for mastering the necessary skills.
Let us exhaust all possible avenues of support while they are in our care, for it is often uncertain when they will flourish.❤❤❤

Teachers need guidance too to help their struggling learners, more so with their learners with disabilities.
Teachers need support in order to give quality education to their learners.
Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of all pupils, including those who face challenges. Providing guidance, professional development, and resources to teachers ensures that they can effectively support struggling learners and create an inclusive learning environment. By doing so, we empower both teachers and the pupils to achieve their full potential.
April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance month. Let us take part in helping these kids by understanding, accepting, and celebrating differences!
1. Educate Yourself: Take the time to learn about autism, its characteristics, and how it can affect individuals. There are many online resources, books, and documentaries available to increase your understanding.
2. Promote Acceptance: Encourage discussions about differences and promote a classroom environment where all students feel valued and accepted. Use literature, videos, and activities that showcase diverse perspectives and experiences.
3. Celebrate Differences: Plan activities that celebrate the unique strengths and talents of individuals with autism. This can include art projects, presentations, or inviting guest speakers to share their experiences.
4. Foster Understanding: Create opportunities for open communication and empathy-building exercises. Encourage students to ask questions, express their feelings, and learn from each other.
By implementing these steps, you can help create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, making a positive impact on their understanding and acceptance of autism.

And most of the time, beloved teachers, what is truly needed to make the world a better place is our genuine CARE for our learners. It's not just our knowledge or expertise, but our heartfelt dedication and sincere care for them.
When you see someone falling behind, walk beside them.
If you see someone being ignored, find a way to include them.
Always remind people of their worth in every opportunity you can.
One small act could mean the world to them.
Not all children with disabilities will think as such: “I've always had desire to prove people wrong, to show that I could do things they doubt I could.” I hope, we the parents, teachers, and community could help them discover and enhance their skills and hidden talents.
Project AYAT has once again proven its impact by being recognized as the FIRST PLACE during the Division Best Practice awarding on February 8, 2024 at PFVR Gym. For three consecutive years, Project AYAT has held the number one spot as one the Best Practices of the Division. This project caters to the needs of learners with special educational needs. The project is grateful for the efforts of all the teachers who are accommodating learners struggling in their academics. Teacher Cherry Ann Malecdan, the project's proponent, stated that the project's success relies on the collaboration of teachers, parents, and the community. She continues to advocate for inclusivity, ensuring that no one is left behind, and that every learner at BCS deserves to receive quality education.
