TMPC SPONSORS IN-HOUSE TRAINING OF IJODA TRANSPORT COOPERATIVE
July 2024

As part of TMPC’s Koop Kapatid Program, TMPC sponsored the training fee and food during the in-house training on Fundamentals of Cooperatives for officers and management staff of IJODA Transport Cooperative last July 15 and 16, 2024. This training was conducted by the Cooperative Union of Baguio City and Luzon (CUBCL). There were a total of 35 participants for this 2-day training. Total cost of donation was Php 43,500.00

TMPC assists micro and small cooperatives in the completion of their mandatory trainings for better governance and management of the operations of the cooperatives by their officers and management staff.

TMPC DONATES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO BRGY. LOACAN, ITOGON, BENGUET

As part of TMPC’s community development program, the Cooperative donated additional medical equipment (1 medical bed and 1 wheel chair) to Brgy. Loacan, Itogon, Benguet last July 17, 2024.

These medical equipment will be used by 4 sitios - Luneta, Loacan (Beda, Purok 1 & 2), Tocmo and Labilab. This donation will help in addressing the health concerns and emergency treatment of the barangay. Total cost of this donation is Php 20,755.00

This donation was accepted by Ms. Janet Panlaqui (Health Widwife) and Kagawad Ramos Pay-an Sr.

TMPC DONATES OFFICE SUPPLIES TO IJODA TRANSPORT COOPERATIVE
June 2024

In line with the Cooperative Principle, Cooperation among Cooperatives, TMPC donated a filing cabinet, cash box and calculator to IJODA Transport Cooperative located in Irisan, Baguio City last June 27, 2024.

IJODA Transport Cooperative is a small cooperative in Baguio City operating modernized jeepneys in Irisan area. They have around 100 members – composed of drivers, operators and residents. This donation is part of TMPC’s Koop Kapatid Program to assist micro and small cooperatives in Baguio City.

Total cost of this donation is Php16,757.00

This donation was accepted by Mr. Herminio Angaga (BOD Chairperson) Ms. Susan Angaga (GAD Committee) and Ms. Jenny Geroca (Treasurer).

As part of TMPC’s community development program, the Cooperative donated medical supplies to Brgy. Loacan, Itogon, Benguet last June 27, 2024.
Below is the list of donated medical supplies
5 sets blood pressure apparatus
5 pcs. pulse oximeter
5 pcs thermometer
5 pcs. nebulizer
5 units oxygen tank
5 pcs. ambu bag for manual ventilation
5 sets first aid kit

Brgy. Loacan reached out to our Cooperative since their barangay is considered a remote area with 45 minutes to 1 hour partly rough road to Baguio hospitals and 2 hours to Benguet hospitals. In times of emergency situations, where they need to bring a patient from the barangay to the hospital, some patients die while in transit due to the distance and lack of medical supplies for emergency treatment. They have also observed that the common illness of children in their area is asthma and stroke for adults. These medical supplies will be distributed to 4 sitios - Lunata, Loacan (Beda, Purok 1 & 2), Tocmo and Labilab.
This donation will help in addressing the health concerns and emergency treatment of the barangay. Total cost of this donation is Php80,270.00
