Mental health problems are on the rise among adolescents and young adults, and social media may be a driver behind the increase. According to a new study, published by the American Psychological Association, rates of mood disorders and su***de-related outcomes have increased significantly over the last decade among these age groups, impacting females and those who are wealthier, in particular.

October is the World Mental Health Month and from October 4 - 10 is the National Mental Health Week.

If you’re feeling down lately, it’s helpful to get familiar with what the “happy brain chemicals” are and how you can “hack” them (encourage them) to improve your mood.
(Happy brain chemicals are hormones that act as neurotransmitters, sending signals throughout the brain to perform different functions.)
And if you need someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to send us a message.

If you are having a hard time with your class works, don't worry . Help is here! Don't hesitate to message our SSG facebook account and partner up with one of our student tutors. :)

September is the Su***de Prevention Month. There is a lot of stigma around the word " su***de". People are afraid to talk about it. HOWEVER, talking about su***de is important in order to prevent it. ;

Dearest learners, your mental health and well being is also our priority. Don't hesitate to leave us a message or call /text the numbers posted whenever you need someone to talk to. :)
