Makabansang Araw, JZGMNHSians! 👋👩👨 Kumusta naman ang long weekend? 🥰

Narito ang panibagong kaalaman para sa'yo! 💭

📌 In the Philippines, 🇵🇭 people speak between 120 and 187 different languages. 🗣️

The Tagalog language, sometimes known as Filipino, 👨‍🌾 has been designated as the nation's official language. 🤯 As the second official language, it coexists with English. It's interesting 🤔 that English is the primary official language of the Philippines. 🇵🇭

In addition to Tagalog, Cebuano is widely used. 💡 About 50% of people speak 🔊 these two 2️⃣ languages collectively. In spite of this, only Tagalog (also known as Filipino) and English are taught in the educational system. 👩‍🏫

ALAM NIYO BA?🧐💬

The Philippines,🇵🇭 a group of over 7,000 islands 🏘️🏝️ in the western Pacific, ⬅️🌊 achieved independence ✊🏻 from Spanish 🇪🇸 domination more than 120 years ago. This claim was made by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, 👨🏻 but it wasn't until 1962 that then-President Diosdado Macapagal 👨🏻‍🦱 declared it a public holiday 🎉 through a presidential decree. On this day, June 12, 1898, 🗓️ the Filipino flag 🇵🇭 was unfurled for the first time at an inspirational celebration that also included the first public performance of the Philippines national anthem. 🇵🇭🎼 The country has come a long way. It is classified as a developing market 📈 and a recently industrialized country. Tourism 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 has a significant economic impact on the Philippines.🇵🇭

📌 In Manila, 🇵🇭 there is no street crime when Pacquiao competes. Filipinos lovingly refer to Manny Pacquiao 🥊 as PacMan, and he is nothing less than a national treasure. 🏆 Local media reports 🎤 that the professional boxer 🥊 battles to make the streets safer ⛑️ and has a special way of uniting people. 👫 No crimes ❌ were reported in Metro Manila during the storied match 💪 between Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr., according to the Philippines National Police. 👮 In actuality, there weren't many incidents reported across the entire nation! 🤯🇵🇭

Hello‚ JZGMNHSians👋🙋

Monday na ulit‚ goodluck sa class!💪

📌: Motivational quote

" Stop doubting yourself. Work hard and make it happen. "

The hardest work in the room is always going to beat the talented guy. 😔 Who doesn't work hard. 🙈 In the end maybe not every time. But in the end, hard work always wins. 🏆

People who have self-doubt have a hard time believing that they're capable of what they want to do. 😢 This doubt is often a false assumption created from warped thinking and can lead to frustration, disappointment, or self-resentment. 😲 Sometimes, people aren't even aware that they're holding themselves back. 🤔

Self-doubt means that you're holding yourself back. 😬 It arises from the fear of making a mistake, but mistakes are how we grow and improve our own abilities. 😘 Look at yourself in the mirror and say three positive affirmations at the beginning of every day. ✔️❗

To work hard is to take action on something in a very focused way, and it is possible to bring about change if you truly dedicate yourself to it. 🤯 The thought that our condition is temporary, and that we can create change in our lives through hard work, is a beautiful thing. ❤️

It empowers us to take our time and effort seriously because positive results are possible. 🥳🤩 With this new-found optimism, it’s hard not to be grateful for the opportunity. ☺️ Choose the perspective of positivity, and take control of the important elements of your life. 🤞 Lastly, be sure not to doubt yourself while you’re doing it.❗

People who are successful and are doing the hard work feel empowered, in control, confident, and most importantly, happy about their pursuits. 🤩🤯 This is the reason why understanding the concept of success requiring hard work is so important. 🏆🧐

If you think you can do it‚ you can! 👏

Happy mother's day to all the wonderful mother out there!🥳❤️😘

Thank you for all the thing that you do and for being the superheroes that keep our homes and hearts full of love. 🥰 Today, and every day, we celebrate all the incredible moms out there 💛

Thank you for your endless support‚ 👏 you inspire me every day with your endless love and dedication. 🤭 Thank you for being such a wonderful role model. 😎 Happy Mother's Day to the woman who sacrificed so much to raise me. 🏆

Good Day, JZGMNHSians!! 🌞👋 Namiss niyo ba kami?

If you want to lead a successful life, 🫣 achieve your goals and feel amazing about yourself, 💪hard work matters. ✔️ However, 🤔 establishing a solid work ethic requires patience, perseverance, determination, and most importantly…motivation. 🌈

There’s no substitute for hard work. 😲 If you find yourself or your team tired, overworked or simply “not in the mood” to work, take a look at these hard work from some of the greatest achievers of our time. 😘 You’ll surely find yourself motivated and right back on the path to success! ☺️

Sana ay magbunga ang inyong mga pinaghirapan 😌 at pinagpupuyatan nitong mga nakaraang linggo upang mag review sa darating na exam dahil deserve niyo ito!! 🎉🎊🏆

Keri pa ba ng inyong braincells? 🧠🤯 We all did a very good job, JZGMNHSians! 😘

📌 "If you are unwilling to learn no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”

Hello‚ at Mabuhay JZGMNHSians🏜️☀️

As a person who builds things, I constantly struggle with what I should be working on right now. 🤔 You probably do too. 😮 But years ago, I thought it was just me. 😓 I was naive. 😢 I thought I had too many ideas and not enough fingers. 😐 Now I know that everyone has a lot more ideas than they can actually build. ☺️

📌: Motivational quotes

"Inspiration does exist, but it must find you working"

I don't think you can wish inspiration into your life. ❗ You must actively seek it or create the right environment for it to happen. 🧐 Inspiration can come when you least expect it or when you are working hard doing something else. 🫨

One meaning of inspiration is this: "a process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative." 🤔 Chances are, if you're bored, you might not be inspired nor creative. 😬

Inspiration does not exist. 🤨 It does not exist for the lazy. 😶 For the no-passionate. 😔 For the idle. It only exists for the hard-working. The diligent. The zealous and determined. 😧

Be inspired, 😊 and take the opportunity to reflect, ❤️ experiment, and see where inspiration takes you — but work at it. 🥰

Inspiration comes in numerous structures and can strike arbitrarily. 🗣️ Occasionally we have a plenitude of imaginative energy which easily falls into place, different days it’s not all that simple. 💪

Anything and everything can inspire us we just need to open and do well into it. 🤝💪 Nothing in life is easy we need to work to attain each and everything in our lives and just like that we need to find inspirations through efforts and failures. 📝💌

Understanding the progress of goal-setting is predicting future goal inspiration — by creating a positive cycle of more significant goals, 📌 as inspiration results in higher goal pursuits for you ✔️

Take care, and I hope you are inspired today!❤️

📌 The Philippines 🇵🇭 experiences more than 2️⃣0️⃣ earthquakes daily. 😮 The Philippines, 🇵🇭 a nation frequently affected by bizarre meteorological conditions, 🌤️ is located on the western ⬅️ tip of the Ring of Fire. 🔥 Because the nation is situated along not one, but five separate fault lines, ➖ earthquakes frequently occur there. According to experts, there are more than 20 earthquakes across the nation 🏞️ every day, although many of them are too little 🤏 to be felt. 🤯 This would suggest that their magnitude is less than two. ✨

“In this season of rebirth, may you feel your faith renewed and your heart made new with the hope Easter brings.

Easter is the celebration of Christ's resurrection from the dead. It is celebrated on Sunday, and marks the end of Holy Week, the end of Lent, the last day of the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday), and is the beginning of the Easter season of the liturgical year.As we know from the Gospels, Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day following his crucifixion, which would be Sunday. His resurrection marks the triumph of good over evil, sin and death. It is the singular event which proves that those who trust in God and accept Christ will be raised from the dead.Since Easter represents the fulfillment of God's promises to mankind, it is the most important holiday on the Christian calendar.

In the Gospels, the precise details of the Easter narrative vary slightly, but none of these variances are critical to the main story. In fact, it is argued that the variances are simply matters of style and not substance. Despite the variances, the key aspects of the Easter story all match. Above all, they agree that the tomb of Christ was indeed empty, which is the most essential fact.

Sunrise services are common, but are distinctly Protestant. Sunrise services are gathered before dawn and reflect the arrival of the women at Jesus' tomb early in the morning. The services take place outdoors, often in church yards, cemeteries, or in parks, and are timed so the sun will rise during the course of worship.

Traditional family activities vary by region. In the United States, children often hunt for Easter eggs, which are often brightly-dyed hard boiled eggs, though they can be plastic eggs filled with candy or small denominations of money. Candy is a traditional gift for Easter as children often break their Lenten fasts with sweets. Adults tend to share bouquets of flowers, greeting cards, and may gather for a family meal. Such celebrations are often secularized and focused on children and family rather than the religious aspect of the holy day.

Black Saturday

Black Saturday is a public holiday in the Philippines. It is a day of mourning — the day Jesus Christ was laid in his tomb after his death by crucifixion, hence the word ‘black.’ Also known as Holy Saturday, it has been given many names such as “White Saturday,” “Easter Eve,” and “Vigil of Easter.” According to the Catholic Church’s liturgical calendar, it is the final day of Holy Week, Lent, and the Easter Triduum (that is, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday).

Black Saturday commemorates the day Jesus Christ was laid in the tomb after his death. According to a Biblical account (Luke 23:50-56), Joseph of Arimathea went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. It says: “He took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, and placed it in a tomb cut out of the rock, where no one had yet been buried. It was the day of preparation and the Sabbath was beginning. The women who had accompanied Jesus from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it. Then they returned and prepared aromatic species and perfumes.”

According to Catholic teaching, it was also on Black Saturday that Christ “descended into hell.” The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that “the dead Christ went down to the realm of the dead. He opened heaven’s gates for the just who had gone before him.”

Easter Vigil takes place on the evening of Black Saturday recalling the vigil that Jesus’s disciples and followers observed after his crucifixion on Good Friday. It is also called Paschal Vigil — a service that culminates in the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. As the church is put into darkness, a priest or minister enters bearing a Paschal candle accompanied by the chant “The Light of Christ.” After the blessing of the Paschal candle, the rest of the candles in the church are lit and all lights are switched on to celebrate Easter.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ at the site of Calvary is commemorated on Good Friday — a Christian religious holiday. Taking place during Holy Week, the holiday is considered part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday before Easter Sunday. The day is also widely known as Great Friday, Black Friday, or Holy Friday. Around the world, Good Friday is a national holiday in many countries, especially in the Catholic and Anglican nations. Fasting is the traditional way to observe this solemn day, followed by somber processions.

The exact origins of Good Friday are unknown, but the celebration dates back to the 4th century. Fasting and putting limitations on oneself to mourn the death of Jesus is an ancient practice. Why the holiday is called Good Friday is also unknown, but there are several theories. Some believe that ‘God’s Friday’ evolved to ‘Good Friday,’ while religious devouts firmly believe that the day is named ‘good’ as a symbol of Jesus and everything he stood for against evil-doers. It is also widely believed that Jesus died on a Friday, but this doesn’t explain the addition of ‘good’ to the holiday.

Jesus sacrificed his life out of love for his believers and all mankind. His death was the ultimate sacrifice. Despite it being a terrible day in history, the event paved the way for mankind’s salvation, with Jesus being resurrected two days later.

The name "Good Friday" goes back centuries
The earliest known use of the name "Good Friday" goes back to about 1290 in a text called "The South English Legendary.

Kamusta na? sana mabuti ang iyong kalagayan 🫂♥️, Ang bili ng araw 'no?, matatapos na ang marso maraming outing naba ang mga nagawa ninyo? sana naman nag enjoy kayo.🤩

Most of us everyday ⛅ did go out side at home or do some outing 🚞 sa kadahilanan ng merong mahalagang pupuntahan o gustong mag enjoy🥳 at mawala ang stress, may mga araw din na hindi tayo makaalis ❌🏃‍♀️ dahil sa mga mas mahahalagang bagay pa nagagawin.

The one important to do is you can manage ✊your time, ⏰ How to manage time?

Know 🧠 how you’re spending your time ⌛ If your productivity is measured 📏 by output over a certain period, lost time can mean dollars 💰out the window 🪟. Just like creating a budget 💲, you have to track what you’re actually spending your time on to reveal any areas or habits that are blocking you from reaching 🧗 your goals. 🎓

Do ✍️ the manage time ⌛ without ❌ any pressuring yourself.

For our MAKA DIYOS core value, the Youth Formation of Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial National Highschool is sharing information about the "Maundy Thursday".

Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday, also called Holy Thursday or Sheer Thursday, the Thursday before Easter, observed in commemoration of Jesus Christ’s institution of the Eucharist during the Last Supper.

The name is thought to be a Middle English derivation taken from a Latin anthem sung in Roman Catholic churches on that day: “Mandatum novum do vobis” (“a new commandment I give to you”; John 13:34). In most European countries, Maundy Thursday is known as Holy Thursday; other names are Green Thursday (Gründonnerstag; common in Germany), from the early practice of giving penitents a green branch as a token for completing their Lenten penance, and Sheer Thursday (clean Thursday), which refers to the ceremonial washing of altars on this day.

In the early Christian church the day was celebrated with a general communion of clergy and people. At a special mass the bishop consecrated the chrism (holy oils) in preparation for the anointing of the neophytes at the baptism on Easter night. Since 1956 Maundy Thursday has been celebrated in Roman Catholic churches with a morning liturgy for the consecration of the holy oils for the coming year and an evening liturgy in commemoration of the institution of the Eucharist, with a general communion. During the evening liturgy the hosts are consecrated for the communion on Good Friday (when there is no liturgy), and the ceremony of the washing of feet is performed by the celebrant, who ceremonially washes the feet of 12 people in memory of Christ’s washing the feet of his disciples. Eastern Orthodox churches also have a ceremony of foot washing and the blessing of oil on this day.

In England alms are distributed to the poor by the British sovereign in a ceremony held at a different church each year. This developed from a former practice in which the sovereign washed the feet of the poor on this day.

Remember, 🗣️ failure is not fatal, It’s just a result of our ex*****on, you can always re-execute it until you got success. ❤️ And it takes courage to do that and that’s why it’s the courage to continue that matters the most. ✔️ Success is not final either, It’s just an outcome of the process, It’s an indicator of moving further for the next challenge. 😲

Failure is something that all of us have come across. 😥 There is no such person who hasn’t witnessed failure at least once in their life. 💯 Therefore, you have to acknowledge that failure is an essential thing in our life. 🫂 Without fail, we cannot comprehend the joy of success. ✨

📌: Motivational quotes

"Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that count." — Winston S. Churchill
success is something that motivates us. ✔️ Also, it boosts us to move ahead in our life. 🫰 However, you have to understand that success is not permanent. 😥 It will not stay by your side for the rest of your life. 🥹

And, don’t let the success go above your head. 🧠 It will do nothing but make you idle and unmotivated. 🤯 Therefore, even if your progress is fading away, make sure that you didn’t stop. 💪

Failure is not the end of everything. 🤩 To be precise, it is the beginning of a new journey. 🥳 So, if you witness someone fail, don’t worry as it is not that fatal. 🤯 And during that time, you must have the courage to continue, that will decide how good you are going to live your life. 💪❤️

📌Be humble and grateful when you achieve success and strive to keep that up when in the phase of failure, don’t lose hope, and never give up. Learn from your mistake and keep trying. No matter how many times you fall, try to get back and keep going. It’s courage that counts.📌

Self-realization and self-reflection are the keys.🗣️ Question yourself, ❓find out what stops you from achieving something, work on it, and don’t stop until you reach your destination. 💝
