On September 29, between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM, a new group of leaders was chosen. Let us all express our enthusiasm by extending a hearty welcome to the ASOCRITANTS Club's newly elected officers!

The election was spearheaded by the SSLG Secretary Brixie Colinares along with the supervision of the club's adviser, Mr. Arcie Cagomoc.

As the newly elected club officers embark on a new chapter, may they come together to form a dynamic team that is dedicated to fostering a more vibrant, resilient, and inclusive community within the club and its members, all while steadfastly upholding their duties to the very end of this academic year.

Please prepare a photo of your SF 9 (Report Card) to be uploaded upon enrollment. Original report card shall be given to the new adviser during the first day of classes on August 29, 2023.

NOTE:

This online enrollment is only applicable for old students of CCNHS. Grade 7 and Grade 11 qualifiers will have an in-person enrollment on August 15-18, 2023.

Balik-Aral and Transferees will have their in-person enrollment on August 22-25, 2023.

SCREENING FOR INCOMING GRADE 7 and GRADE 11 STUDENTS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024

GENERAL REMINDERS

✅ Be sure to come to CCNHS on your scheduled date of entrance examination and interview. Students who have not pre-registered online will not be entertained.

✅ Be sure to be at CCNHS at least 1 hour or 30 minutes before your scheduled entrance examination.

✅ STE 7 aspirants shall bring a mongol pencil no. 2 for the written examination.

✅ BEP 7, SPA 7, and SPFL 7 aspirants will have to take their entrance examination at JHS Computer Lab while all Grade 11 aspirants will have to take their entrance examination at SHS Computer Lab.

✅ SPA 7 aspirants shall bring their materials for the demonstration of the specialized skills.

✅ Only photocopy of School Form 9/School Report Card and Certificate of Good Moral Character shall be given to the Screening personnel. Original documents shall be submitted upon enrollment.

✅ Aspiring students who are NOT from Brgy. Balud, Hamorawon, Nijaga, Payahan, Dagum, Carmen, Obrero, Capoocan, Cacaransan, West Awang, East Awang, Central, Aguit-itan, Rizal, Guin-on or NOT within the catchment areas of CCNHS shall present a Barangay Certification or Cert. of Residency to the screening personnel.

✅ Lastly, those who have chosen August 11 as their date of entrance exam and interview, your new schedule of entrance exam and interview is on August 14, Monday, since August 11 is declared as Holiday.

As the school year ends, the ABM Asocritants will welcome with open arms new officers who respectively will lead the club towards success and carry on the legacy of those who came before them.

To ensure the proper transition of officers and smooth governance for the next school year's club affairs, the ABM Asocritants lead by the president, Ms. Arabella Grace Salurio, carried out the turnover of documents to the acting club president Mr. Gerard Doroja who will take place as the OIC Head of the Asocritants until the next election of the club's governing body.

To the future officers of the club the outgoing officers, with their responsibilities towards the club transcending limits, will support them to the best of their abilities and will help ensure the proper success and triumph of the ABM Asocritants and our alma mater, Calbayog City National High School.

The ABM Asocritants gives great commendation to our grade 12 officers who have shown prowess and impressive feats during their senior high school.

The officers who during their 2 years in the academic track Accountancy, Business, and Management strand have become great role models and have strengthened the school's name as the Home of the Champions. As they leave and graduate from our alma mater, they will be the next school year's students influence to carry out the legacy of becoming champions for the ABM strand and for the school.

Congratulations to the takers of the NCIII Bookkeeping Assessment from Calbayog City National High School who exceeded expectations and were deemed competent.

Your hard work and dedication to the success of this endeavor show your prowess, adding to the cumulative achievements of the City High's ABM Cluster. Your triumph is a testament and proof that with perseverance and desires, success will surely follow, and more so for those who strive for it.

As a testament to the ABM Students' wisdom the Asocritants staged a series of activities and contests that would excite and help shake the students minds, the commencement of the ABM Week with the theme "Uniting ABM Students with the Goal of Integrity and Excellence" was held on March 2,2023 at Calbayog City National High School's ABM Department and Senior High School Conference Hall.

The events unfolded first with the different teams' presentation of their chant followed by the Fast Calculator Challenge with each team having two representatives from grade 11 and 12. Next, the Eidetic Memory Challenge with each team also having two representatives from grade 11 and 12. Lastly, the Accounting Quiz Bowl, our main highlight of the event competed by the three grade 12 team leaders of each team with cheers from their team members and graced by the presence of our guests — the ABM coordinators from SJNHS, SPNHS and ONHS, the EPS-SHS coordinator Mr. Arnold M. Jaraba, our very own ABM Cluster Head Mrs. Ma. Lorna M. Ondon, SHS Department Head Mr. Michael D. Baculanta, and our ever-supportive school principal, Atty. Calick D. Arrieta,Ph.D.

With their boldness and wits, three smart ABM Students brought home the bacon as champions of the Accountancy Centenary Inter-School Quiz Bowl by the Calbayog Chapter of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in coordination with the College of Accountancy of Christ the King College and the CKC Chapter of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants during the 31st of March held in Christ the King College Audio-Visual Room.

Our contestants, Patrick Anthony Padilla, Jose Miguel Roño, and Timothy Myles Raz, together with their coach Mr. Arcie Cagomoc and group name, The Asocritants, braced the challenge head-on against three other schools and not only became champions, but one of the students, Patrick Anthony Padilla, earned the award as the Most Valuable Asset as he won the most points among the contestants.

The Asocritants acknowledge their efforts and their hard work to win in this momentous event. We are proud of you.

The Asocritants Club of Calbayog City National High School joins the National Women’s Month Celebration this year, with the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”.

National Women's Month is celebrated annually in the month of March to honor the contributions, achievements, and struggles of women throughout history. It is a time to recognize the remarkable accomplishments of women in various fields. This month-long celebration serves as a reminder of the important role women have played in shaping our society and the world, we live in.
