Think Twice

In the depths of the night
Away from the blinding light
Was a soul in sorrow hide
searching for holes
to abscond the bars
and to fly afar

But into the dark
Was a heart in silence scream
racing for help
scribbling for words
it couldn't redeem

And as the dawn broke into morn
The whole was then being torn
Pieces scattered, fragments lost
Doubts crept in and sorrow gushed forth

Sorely
Not an effort could mend
What had been fated to end

If you are distressed over something that bothers you, hurts you, and have hard time getting over it, please, do not ever attempt to end that life that is never yours. If ending it is 'bravery' (tho it's an escape), then facing it is much more. Remember how much distress and struggles your parents ever had in raising you to what you are now. They are the ones who work hard to earn a living. They are the ones who find ways to pay your tuition fees and other expenses. They are worried of your health and make sure you take your medicines. They prepare your meals, do the laundry and household chores. They do everything for the family to survive.
Yes, you might be struggling now, perhaps, but it is only a quarter compared to your parents' experiences. .
So spend your time well with your family. Spend it as if it's gonna be the last. But most of all, spend time with God for He alone is the Giver of life and the One who also takes it away.

Yet, if this doesn't apply to you, they are still your parents and God is still God no matter how you turn the world upside down.
