CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- The Malaybalay City Police Station of Bukidnon Police Provincial Office successfully arrested two suspects and seized suspected shabu valued at more than PhP800,000 in a buy-bust operation on September 13, 2024, at Purok 3, Barangay 9, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias “Ana,” 42, a resident of Barangay 10, Malaybalay City, and alias “Pedrito,” 39, a resident of Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City. It was revealed that "Ana" had previously been arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in 2017 for violating Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while "Pedrito" is a newly identified drug suspect.

Confiscated pieces of evidence during the operation include eight small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing 120.68 grams, with Standard Drug Price of PhP820,624.00, two mobile phones, a zip-lock transparent plastic, and a PhP500.00 bill used as buy-bust money.

Suspects are now under the custody of Malaybalay CPS, Bukidnon Police Provincial Office, for proper disposition. A case for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Art. II of R.A. No. 9165 will be filed against them.

“I would like to reiterate our commitment to curbing the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region. We will never let up until illegal drug peddlers will be placed behind bars. CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- The PNP Officers Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (OLCFI), a non-profit organization, will host the grand finals of the Singing Cops of the Philippines on September 27, 2024, at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila.

The event will showcase the top 10 contestants from Police Regional Offices across the country and awarding of the Top 3 winners.
This initiative by the PNP OLCFI aims to showcase the singing talents of the PNP singers from the 17 Police Regional Offices (PROs) nationwide, with all proceeds going to benefit cancer-stricken PNP personnel and their dependents.
Among the top 10 finalists is Patrolwoman Kershean Uy from the Bukidnon Police Provincial Office, representing Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10). Her inclusion among the finalists is a remarkable achievement, earning her a spot in the much-anticipated grand finals.

“PRO10 fully supports our representative in this national competition. We are proud of her and will continue backing her as she competes for the top spot. Let's support this noble cause, aiding our cancer-stricken PNP personnel,” he said.

The Singing Cops of the Philippines 2024 grand finals will be held on September 27, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila, with the CPNP as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) continues to intensify its anti-criminality efforts in Northern Mindanao, yielding impressive results during a one-week law enforcement operation. From September 12 to 18, 2024, PRO10 successfully apprehended 114 individuals and confiscated over Php 1.1 million worth of illegal drugs.

In anti-illegal drug campaign, PRO10 conducted 47 operations, which led to the arrest of 57 individuals and the confiscation of 173.751 grams of shabu and 5.4 grams of ma*****na, with an overall Standard Drug Price of PhP1,182,154.80.

In anti-illegal gambling, four operations were conducted, resulting in the apprehension of four individuals and the confiscation of PhP1,230.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

In neutralizing wanted persons, PRO10 apprehended 50 wanted individuals, including five Most Wanted Persons and 45 Other Wanted Persons.

In loose fi****ms (Kontra Boga), this PRO conducted six operations, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation/surrender/recovery of seven small arms. Approximately 428 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, resulting in the voluntary surrender of two fi****ms for safekeeping.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) expressed deep concern and sadness over the recent allegations made during the third joint public hearing of the House Quad Committee, wherein the PNP was described as the "largest organized crime group in the country." This is evidence that the PNP leadership consistently upholds what is right and strives to provide the best possible service to the nation, setting an example for others to follow.

We remain committed to our continuing reforms that strengthen our institution, and this include strict adherence to the President’s call for a holistic approach to combating illegal drugs, with a strong emphasis on the preservation of human life. The PNP, alongside other law enforcement agencies, will be unrelenting in our campaign against illegal drugs, with each agency contributing to a broader effort to address the drug menace.

Meanwhile, we encourage anyone with credible information regarding misconduct within our ranks to come forward. We are fully committed to investigating all allegations thoroughly and impartially, and should any misconduct be proven, we will ensure that justice is served in accordance with the law.
