KABATAAN, TARA NA! LEAD THE GOODGOVPH YOUTH BOARD 2024-2025! ⛵🇵🇭

GoodGovPH believes in the power of the Filipino youth in championing good governance. This year, we are proud to launch the first GoodGovPH Youth Board and Fellowship, a youth leadership and capacity-building program that aims to empower young advocates into champions of good governance. ✊

The GoodGovPH Youth Board will be composed of 20-25 youth leaders aged 18-24 who will lead and implement projects for youth engagement in good governance. These initiatives will be anchored on GoodGovPH’s four-pillar approach: community building, civic engagement, education, and policy advocacy. 💪

To support this youth leadership experience, the officers will automatically be a part of the GoodGovPH Youth Fellowship, a year-long capacity-building program that aims to expand their knowledge on good governance, hone their skills, and nurture values-based leadership. The Fellowship will be composed of workshops, group dynamics activities, coaching, and mentorship activities. 💡

If you are:
- Filipino aged 18-24
- With strong interest in youth empowerment and good governance
- An emerging leaders in your community (student leaders, community leaders, volunteers, activists, journalists, innovators, artists, influencers)
- Committed to learning and service

Mayor Junaflor "Sweet" Cerilles spent time with the student leaders of the Immaculate Heart Academy, Inc. undergoing the Lead Now. Learn How. A 3-day Training Workshop on Student Leadership on Dialogue and Peace. The municipal visit provided an opportunity to learn and be inspired from the mayor's leadership journey and of her role as elected woman Mayor of the town. This learning hopes to also interact with other LGU officials and be inspired from their own leadership stories and get to understand projects and initiatives for their people and planet.

Thankful for the Mindanaw Tripartite Youth Core and the Lakbay Diyalogo Travel Services and Consultancy for the co-facilitation and assistance. This is a great start. Padayon lang.

Day 2 Alumni Meet l February 12, 2023
We were given ample time to experience Tagaytay this morning before project pitching comes to forth in the Alumni Meet 2023. Mona D Pangan and Jingkay GD decided to visit the Picnic Grove to get a view of Taal Volcano after spending time at two churches we visited and celebrated a Sunday Eucharist. Had so much fun walking, riding Bukyo (tuktuk) and roaming around. Thankful for the opportunity.

Now, back to our work station at the Quest. Project Pitching is about to happen.
