“It is fun to be a child: Olimpinoy 2024”
By: Viona Zelene G. Campillan. Gr. 6 St. Rita
Children love to play games because they can learn so many valuable insights through playing. Values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie are sure take-aways after every game.
During the Olimpinoy 2024, elementary pupils including pre-kinder and kinder bonded together through the different games they participated in. Pupils were group according to different colors. These are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue teams. The bigger kids assisted the small ones in order to win the different games. No one was left behind. Everyone enjoyed the obstacle course during the last part of the event. What made it more special was, the teachers also joined happily. Aside from these, children also had fun playing the longest line, flag and hula-hoop relay. At the end of the day, Olimpinoy is not just about winning all the time. It is also about accepting defeat and being humble during victory.
As they say, you are only young once. Hence, grab every opportunity that will always make you remember the magic of childhood-like Olimpinoy.
