The Alimodian National Comprehensive High School Barkada Kontra Droga Club, led by their adviser Mr. Roel A. Velasco, leads the "SIMULTANEOUS PLEDGE OF COMMITMENT TO REMAIN DRUG FREE" on Nov 13, 2023 during the flag ceremony. This was in coordinance as we celebrate the Drug Prevention and Control Week with the Theme: "People First, Stop Stigma and Discrimination, Strengthen Prevention."

1st launch of the Hatag Kinaadman: A Room-to-Room Symposium

This project was initiated by the Alimodian NCHS Barkada Kontra Droga that aims to give students informations and raise awareness to have a healthy and productive drugfree lifestyle.

The speakers discussed the causes of drug abuse, various types of illegal drugs and its prevention.

We just want to express our sincere gratitude to the people behind this successful activity.

Consistent with the powers vested in the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB)under Section 77, Art. IX of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the flagship program of the Board named as BARKADA KONTRA DROGA (BKD) is hereby institutionalized and, in connection therewith, the following guidelines for its effective implementation are hereby prescribed (DDB Board Regulation No. 5, s. 2007)

This year’s theme is “Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises for the Youth.”

Through the promotion of drug prevention measures, this activity seeks to increase youth participation in drug abuse prevention initiatives and public awareness of the harmful consequences of illegal drugs.

This will be held on July 26-27, 2022 | via the official page of the DepEd Tayo - Youth Formation Division, Dangerous Drugs Board and Zoom from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Drug Abuse remains one of the biggest threats to the health and the society in general.

The Alimodian NCHS- Barkada Kontra Droga Club is one with you in celebrating the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), or World Drug Day with the theme: "Addressing drug challenges in health and humanitarian crisis."

The main aim of this day is to spread awareness about the physical and psychological impact of substance abuse, drug overdose deaths and drugs-related problems across the globe and to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving the goal of a drug free world.

Let us all stand and continue the fight against drug abuse.

The Alimodian NCHS - Supreme Student Government, in partnership with the Alimodian NCHS Barkada Kontra Droga Club and Alimodian NCHS YES-O Club, shall conduct a tree growing activity dubbed as “Project Pagtatap: A Tree Growing Activity” around the municipality of Alimodian in the respective barangays or households of officers of the aforementioned organizations.

The said activity aims to expand green spaces in the locality, conserve biodiversity, increase the resilience of ecosystems, help minimize climate change effects, and counteract soil and biodiversity loss within the local community.

Taking drugs can be the hindrance in achieving goals in life. There is a saying, “While there is life, there is hope”. Since drugs are taking hopes, it is not impossible that drugs also take lives. Life has no repetition, you must fight for your mission in reaching your ambition and staying away from addiction.
