What an amazing way to end a day of growth and learning! We wrapped it up with a fun yet challenging group activity that tested our teamwork and creativity. 🎯 The task? Build a 𝟰𝗳𝘁-𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 using just 10 pasta noodles, 10 sheets of bond paper, and 2 feet of tape. Our goal was to create a structure that was tall, durable, and, of course, aesthetically pleasing!

As the challenge progressed, we were given extra materials and even got the chance to trade supplies with other teams. The room was filled with laughter and creative energy as each group proudly presented their towers and shared the unique inspiration behind their designs.

We ended the day with a great sense of accomplishment, receiving our certificates and taking plenty of photos to capture these special moments. It was a day packed with valuable insights, great company, and unforgettable experiences with fellow student leaders.

In the second half of our Leadership Training, we had the honor of hearing from Ma'am Hazel P. Abellon (OIC-CEO | Accountant), who gave us valuable insights into 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Her session left us equipped with practical knowledge on how to manage funds effectively within our respective organizations.

After Ma’am Hazel’s discussion, we took some time to reflect and brainstorm how we would apply what we learned to our own organizational budgets. Each group spent 15-20 minutes crafting plans, discussing potential 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗚𝗣𝘀), and mapping out how to fund the exciting activities we have in store for our members!

To wrap things up, each group presented their budgeting plans, receiving valuable feedback. Then, Ma’am Hazel surprised us with an amazing announcement—each student organization (15 RSOs) will receive ₱𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 from the Community Multipurpose Cooperative to kickstart our initiatives! ✨

We had the privilege of learning from our first guest speaker, Sir Darwin S. Del Rosario, who gave an insightful and hands-on session on parliamentary procedures. From understanding the rules to conducting meetings efficiently, Sir Darwin guided us through it all, making the complex seem simple!

After his engaging discussion, we jumped right into a fun workshop activity where each group applied what we had just learned through mock meetings. The best part? We kept the energy going even through lunchtime, continuing our activities while enjoying some delicious meals.

We ended the session by presenting Sir Darwin with a well-deserved certificate of appreciation and a special token of BSU products. Thank you, Sir, for sharing your knowledge with us! We can’t wait to put these new skills into practice as we grow as student leaders.
