FLEEING NPA MEMBER FROM A CLASH IN MASBATE CLAWED BY OPERATIVES

Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City- A member of the New People’s Army who fled from a clash between their group and police troops on November 28, 2022 at around 5:45 AM in a remote village at Placer, Masbate was spotted by a concerned citizen at around 3:15 PM of same day. Accordingly, the suspect was seen roaming around the said place armed with unknown caliber of firearm and reported the same to Placer MPS.

Operatives of Placer MPS, 2nd PMFC, PIU, and SOCO team from Masbate PFU immediately responded and conducted hot pursuit operation that resulted to the arrest of the said suspect who was identified as Rolly Aballe Jr, 23 years old and a resident of Brgy. Cabangrayan, Pio. V Corpus, Masbate.

Confiscated from his possession is one (1) unit caliber .38 revolver without trademark and serial number loaded with five (5) rounds of live ammunitions and two (2) cellular phones with conversations of the movement of the government troops.

The suspect who is now under the custody of Placer MPS with be charged for violation of Republic Act 10591 also known as “Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act”

The Regional Director of PRO5, PBGEN RUDOLPH B DIMAS, commended the operating team for their unrelenting dedication and diligence to capture the fleeing NPA member.

Noong ika 22 ng Disyembre 2021. Humigit kumulang 500 apektadong pamilya ang inabot ng kapulisan mula sa Police Regional Office 5 sa Barangay Sto. Niño, Naval, Biliran, Leyte, sa pamumuno ni Regional Director, PBGen Jonnel C Estomo.

Personal na ipinagkaloob ng mga naka-deploy na tauhan mula sa PRO 5 kabilang na ang Technical Support Company ang mga relief goods, damit at iba pang pangangailangan ng mga nasalanta.

Patuloy paring umiikot ang mga tauhan ng PRO 5 upang mas makapaghatid ng tulong sa iba pang biktima ng nagdaang kalamidad.
