From the OSJ Constitutions, Articles 6 and 8:
By religious profession the Oblates of St. Joseph offer themselves “continuously to God, striving for perfection, detached from all earthly pleasure of body and spirit” (Letter 108). Therefore, all their activities acquire the value of divine service and worship offered in praise of the Most Holy Trinity. Living in charity of God and neighbor, they witness better to the presence of God among men, whom they love with the tenderness of Christ, and they proclaim better the future resurrection and the glory of the heavenly Kingdom.

By the profession of religious vows, one becomes an actual member of the Congregation and assumes the personal and responsible commitment to strive for religious perfection by the observance of these Constitutions.

From the Provincial Directory, Article 118:
In the silver and golden anniversaries of their first profession and priestly ordination, Confreres celebrate these momentous occasions in their respective communities or in the Province.

The Oblates of St. Joseph, St. Joseph Province-Philippines, joyfully announces the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Christian Moog Hortal, OSJ, Rev. Don Christer Aleta Lazado, OSJ and Rev. Lervin Balboa Tejada, OSJ to be conferred by His Excellency, Most Rev. Napoleon B. Sipalay, Jr., OP, DD, Bishop of Alaminos, on May 1, 2024, 9:00 AM at the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph the Patriarch, San Jose, Batangas.

Today as we solemnly celebrate our Patron's Feast, let us take recourse on him.

On March 14, 2024, as the Congregation celebrates our 146th Founding anniversary, we shall witness the Solemn Ordination of Rev. Ericson Kasilag Alfante, OSJ and Rev. John Mark Sebuc Comia, OSJ through the hands of Most. Rev. Gilbert A. Garcera, DD, Archbishop of Lipa.

Let us pray for their perseverance and faithfulness to their chosen vocation.

Let us greet our Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Jayson D. Endaya, OSJ a blessed birthday today. May God continue to bestow upon him His choicest blessings.
