Engr. Christian Paul Achazo, a fellow Civil Engineer, is currently battling Stage 3 Classical Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. Although he is feeling weak, Paul remains hopeful and determined to regain his strength and recover soon.

Fellow Engineers, our prayers would greatly support him. Besides prayers, Paul also needs financial assistance to continue his chemotherapy.

Janna Clarisse A. Razon, an incoming second-year Financial Management student of the University of the East (UE)-Manila, is in need for basic necessities and monetary donations as a fire burned her family's home in Tondo, Manila on June 16.

"Damit, kumot, hygiene kit will be a big help po. We’re also accepting [monetary] donation po para makatulong po sa mga relatives ko, buong family po kasi namin sa Tondo [ang] nasunugan," Razon said in an interview with the DAWN.

Eid Al-Adha is the Festival of Sacrifice in honor of the sacrifice of Prophet Abraham to obey Allah SWT decree. This festival is celebrated on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah and is the second Eid in the Islamic year that falls on the last day of Hajj, one of the fifth pillar of Islam.

May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala provide us with a prosperous life and be guided in Dunya, Inshallah.

UE Yearend 2024 Tertiary-Graduate Baccalaureate Rites All Set

Attention, candidates for UE yearend tertiary and graduate commencement for school year 2024-2025!

Please be informed of your Baccalaureate Rites, both of which will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024—prior to your commencement rites on Friday, June 21, 2024.

For graduating UE Caloocan College students, please be guided by the following details:

Venue: Multipurpose Hall, 5th Floor, Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building (a.k.a. MPH 3)
Assembly time: 7:30 a.m.
Program proper: 8:30 a.m.

For graduating UE Manila College and Graduate School students:

Venue: UE Theater, 5th floor, Dalupan Building*
Assembly time: 12 noon
Program proper: 1 p.m.

* The campus entrance for the UE Manila Baccalaureate Mass will be the main UE Theater entrance along C. M. Recto Avenue, to the right of the C&E Bookshop.

The prescribed attire for the Baccalaureate Mass is your UE uniform.

The program and tickets for the Commencement Rites will be distributed at your respective Dean's offices after the Rites. Each graduating student will receive two tickets, valid for two guests to the Commencement Rites.

The university is still working on service maintenance and system upgrades.

We recommend that students visit campus to gain access to the enrollment portal, iEnroll. While SFC 203 and LB 904 laboratories are available to accommodate enrollees, the CAS Dean's Office at Lulahati Building, 5th Floor, can also assist students who plan to enroll this summer term.

Enrollment for Summer 2024 is open until June 13, 2024.
