Along with the heavy rains and waist-deep floods brought about by Super Typhoon Carina, there is a heightened risk of contracting infectious diseases such as Leptospirosis.

Know more about the animal-borne disease and how to counter the increasing threats to our health posed by the recent floods.

Some of our College of Science faculty will also be giving prophylaxis prescriptions to our students in the college. To those who are of high risk due to e.g., contact with flood water, you may avail of the free prophylaxis prescription by simply sending a private message to the CSSC Office of the President: m.me/yannie.azarcon or m.me/kodchenkova indicating the following:

🔹 MEDICINE ALLERGIES (if any)
🔹 HISTORY OF ILLNESSES (cough, etc.)

If you were exposed to potentially contaminated areas or are experiencing symptoms, take the right measures and consult a professional if deemed necessary. Keep dry, everyone!
