Heads up, everyone!
The CMU Physics Society have launch their new official page. Like and follow for regular updates! ๐
Thank you Dir. Phoebe Gracielle A. Migraso, BS Applied Physics graduate of UPD-NIP for your generous printer donation for the BS Physics students of Central Mindanao University. We assure you they will print responsibly (towards their graduation)!
The first law of Newton states that an object at rest or in motion remains at rest or in motion unless acted upon by an external force. Your dreams become the external force that propels you forward, even when you are unsure of the journey ahead. Sometimes this force urges you to accelerate, while at other times it slows you down. The second law states that the force of an object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. Your dreams were once prayers and wishes, but through your perseverance, hard work, and determination to progress at your own pace, you have overcome challenging obstacles. Thirdly, according to the action-reaction law, the countless all-nighters you've endured, your efforts, and your moments of doubt have finally paid off. You've made it! This achievement is not solely because you've completed the final task of graduating, but also because you've chosen the less-traveled path, and each of you has excelled in your own unique way. Now, stand tall and spread your pterodactyl wings, for you truly deserve the rewards of your hard work. Work is equals to the product of Force times distance. The greater the dream the more work needed thus, you did it!
Uncertainty may arise, but it is a natural phenomenon that governs the universe. Remember the friendships you've made, the mistakes you've learned from, and the lessons you've acquired along the way. Hats off to you, our dear graduates! This is not the end, but the beginning of something even greater. Keep your dreams alive and continue exploring the mysteries of the universe.
May your best blaze burn brightest in times of adversity!
Embarking on a new chapter, we reflect on your remarkable journey through triumphs and tribulations. From the moment we took our first breath, there have been unwavering champions by our side: our parents. Joined by the brilliant minds of the third-year Physics students and the esteemed faculty of CMU's Physics Department, we proudly pay tribute to both graduates and parents, marking a momentous occasion on June 21, 2023. With heartfelt gratitude, graduates express long-overdue thanks to their parents, who in turn commend their dedication and academic excellence. It's incredible how even the smallest words of encouragement empower us to forge ahead.
May your ship navigate the vast expanse of the universe with boundless potential and may you keep the love your parents gave you since day one!

Have you ever heard the magical sound of Christmas bells? I'm sure we all feel the December air. Well, before I see girls and boys selling lanterns on the street singing Christmas songs, I've witnessed first how my co-photons struggle with their finals. Breakdowns, doubts and fears swallowed us whole so we are all looking forward to the long ho-ho-holiday break. Last night you should see the things we do.
The CMU Physics Society students, together with the Physics faculty, mingle in the most awaited Acquaintance Party held at the College of Education Hall. Our co-photons get excited, really. Oh what's fun it is to party even for one night only!โ๐

We would like to extend our gratitude to our Physics Department faculty for their full support, for the guidance and the help. To our advisers, thank you for your patience Ma'ams, for being with us and for the heart fluttering compliment although we have lapses. We are very honored to have you our dear Professors for this event will never happen without your approval. To our co-photons, all BS Physics students for attending and participating, it means so much to us because our efforts have been paid off. To the officers who have been working hard for this event to happen amidst the conflicts, we did a good job.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our awesome Pisikapamilya!

Knowing someone's proud of us for our short list of accomplishments which is surviving would be heart-fluttering, isnโt it? We deserve a "kamusta" and "I'm proud of you". Raise your glass and let's have a toast to us our co-photons, we have made it and we will make it!๐ฅ
Amidst the difficulties, we always care for each others' welfare so have been so physics-nated to share with you our Pisikamustahan last day, 16th of November together with our Physics faculty and co-photons, the BS Physics students. We celebrate your wins whether it's small or big because for us, our co-photons matter.

Curiousity fuels brain to be aware about the mechanism of things, how it works and why it behaves that way.
As we end this month, may we also celebrate the how's and specially the why's of our life as it will make us understand the essence of what we're doing right now, henceforth will direct us to where we'll be heading in the future. Formulas aren't needed to answer "Why did you choose physics?" as it differs based on the perspective of our co-photons and here are their witty answers.

You can't wake us up when September ends, because we're wide awake stepping up and taking the fun to the street as CASSCO acquaintance party was held last 9th of September 2022 at University Convention Center. Ain't it fun? Physics students didn't want to be left behind by the trend so they showcased their street wear. Have fun scrolling!๐ฅผ๐
Chiral molecules has handedness, the property that distinct asymmetric objects from its mirror image. Through the efforts of the PHYSICS MEETUP team lead by Ma'am Adelle Yuson and the support of ICTP Physics without Frontiers, we have been lectured by a superwoman in Science, Dr. Jess Wade how chiral molecules works and the impact of it which can literally changed the world. Together with the CMU Physics Department staffs, the CMU-BS Physics students has attended physics meet up session through zoom at CAS AV Hall last September 2, 2022 from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm.
In behalf of the members of this Society, we would like to extend our sincere thanks for the Physics Meet Up team, ICTP Physics without Frontiers and the Physics Department for this great opportunity with Dr. Jess Wade.๐ฅผ๐
