[𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚] The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, College of Agriculture needs two (2) full-time faculty members for the 2nd Semester, SY 2022-2023, with the following minimum qualifications:
1. Must be a licensed Agriculturist
2. Must be an MS Plant Pathology graduate

𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓮 𝓰𝓸, 𝓴𝓪-𝓐𝓰𝓰𝓲𝓮𝓼!

After its postponement, the College of Agriculture Student Council (COASCO) will finally stage the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. The General Assembly will commence immediately after the first part of the program, the College Orientation. The two programs will begin from 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, and 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 will be checked 𝐚𝐭 𝟕 𝐀𝐌 to 𝟕:𝟑𝟎 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲.

During the General Assembly, the COASCO will present its approved Calendar of Activities, Financial Statement, College Fees and other programs relevant to the holistic development and welfare of Agriculture students anchored to its Constitution and By-laws. All officially enrolled students are required to attend the said event.

Development Communication: Navy Blue
Soil Science: Brown
AgriBusiness Management: Green

Entomology: Maroon

This whole day activity will begin at 8 AM and end at 4 PM. Attendance will start at precisely 7 AM and end at 8 AM and will be monitored by department officers.

CMU celebrates 112th Founding Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming

Central Mindanao University will commemorate its 112th Founding Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming this year with a week-long celebration that starts from September 12 up to September 18.

Founded in 1910, this year’s founding anniversary theme is CMU@112: Celebrating a Culture of Excellence and Collaboration. To commemorate the occasion, the Alumni Relations and Linkages Office and the CMU Alumni Association Incorporated have set various activities during the week to provide a unique opportunity to honor the University’s past, celebrate its present, and build its future and an avenue for continuing professional and personal development.

Highlights of the event include the Opening Ceremonies, CMUFAI & CMUEAI Day, Student Day, Faculty & Staff Day, Alumni Day, Food and Good Bazaar Week, Acoustic Nights, and a two-day Rodeo Festival and Agri Fair.

As part of the celebration, the University will hold an Alumni Awards and Gala on September 16, 2022, at the University Convention Center to honor the Golden Jubilarians (Batch 1970, 1971 & 1972), Silver Jubilarians (Batch 1995, 1996, 1997), and Outstanding Alumni.

Qualifications:
- Preferably someone who has earned units or holds an MS degree in Horticulture
- Licensed Agriculturist
- With a good to excellent academic record
- Extensive experience in the field of Horticulture
- Published researches
- Equipped and ready for Flexible Teaching/Learning
- Willing to work beyond office hours
