PRC Regional Office III Spearheads the First CPD Providers’ Forum 2024

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA - The Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office III, through the initiative of the Regulation Division, spearheaded the conduct of a webinar entitled, “CPD Providers Forum: A Seminar Workshop on Developing Quality Programs and Preparing Instructional Designs,” held on Friday, July 05, 2024. Honorable Lourdes T. David, Member, Professional Regulatory Board of Librarianship and Chairperson of the CPD- Program Management Committee, Professional Regulation Commission, Central Office, shared her knowledge and expertise regarding the topic on “Developing Quality Programs and Preparing Instructional Designs.” Specifically, the Hon. David pointed out the importance of the contiguity between the program outcomes, activities, and evaluation tool, the necessity to craft the program outcomes measurably through observable outcomes/output, and the alignment of the program designs to the standards based on the Philippine Qualification Framework (PQF) Level stated.

The program was conducted in four (4) phases wherein the participants interactively participated in the lecture and session of the resource person, open forum, workshop on developing quality programs and preparing instructional designs, and presentation of outputs and critiquing session. A total of 67 participants joined the activity, represented by CPD managers/focal persons of various accredited CPD providers within Region III.

PRC Regional Office III Officers led by Paul H. Aban, Regional Director, and Dr. Maria Ellen Ruditha A. Quinicio, Chief Professional Regulations Officer of the Regulation Division, are thankful to the Commission for granting three (3) CPD units for this activity.
