In celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Civil Service Commission conducted the 2024 Government Job Fair, at Robinsons Starmills, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

BFP Pampanga Provincial Office headed by our Provincial Fire Marshal, FSSUPT ROMEO A PEPITO JR, DSC, and under the direct command of our Regional Director FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, participated in the said event and organized an information drive for jobseekers who would be interested in joining the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The 2024 Government Job Fair made a way to our fellow citizens to have direct interaction with various government agencies and opened an avenue for those interested in pursuing a career in the public sector.

We at the Bureau of Fire Protection will always be committed in supporting and guiding those who aspire to serve our country in the field of public service.

As an integral member of the NDRRMC Response Cluster, the Bureau of Fire Protection has mobilized its units to support local government efforts in responding to the challenges posed by Tropical Storm Enteng (International name: Yagi) and the intensified Southwest Monsoon.

30 August 2024 | 3rd Quarter Joint PPOC, PADAC and PTF - ELCAC Meeting

FSSUPT ROMEO A PEPITO JR and the OPFM - BFP Pampanga Operations Branch staff attended and participated on the recently conducted 3rd Quarter Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PDAC), and the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF - ELCAC) meetings held at Kingsborough International Convention Center, JASA, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Highlights of the event for the BFP Pampanga is the unanimous approval of the PPOC Resolution Number 2024-06 which among others ensures the allocation of funds for the capacity and skills development programs of BFP Pampanga personnel for the year 2025.

The allocation of fund is solely intended for the conduct of two (2) training programs for Basic Fire Code Enforcement (BFCE) and also for the Fire Arson Investigation Operations Course (FAIOC).

Also, an additional funding was approved by the council for the conduct of BFP Pampanga Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Firefighting Competition which will not only showcase the operational skills of our CFAG counterparts but will surely hone their knowledge as first responders.

These initiatives are vital for continuously improving our capabilities and ensuring successful emergency responses. We are deeply grateful for your unwaivering commitment to the BFP Pampanga.

Together, we can work toward a safer and more peaceful nation.

The House of Representatives Committees on Public Order and Safety, Dangerous Drugs, Human Rights, and Public Accounts held a Joint Congressional Hearing - In Aid of Legislation last 16 August 2024 at the Villa de Bacolor Convention Center in Bacolor, Pampanga.

BFP Pampanga Provincial Office under the leadership of our Provincial Fire Marshal, FSSUPT ROMEO A PEPITO JR, DSC, and under the direct command of our Regional Director FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, formed a Provincial Fire Safety Task Group composed of fire stations from the localities of Bacolor, City of San Fernando, Guagua, San Simon, and Sta Rita, led by FSINSP PATRICK O RIVERA - MFM, Bacolor Fire Station, Bacolor, and FINSP JOY L QUITO - Chief Provincial Operations Branch, OPFM BFP Pampanga. The Task Group were deployed to their respective strategic areas in coordination with PNP PRO3.

The said activity was participated by house representatives from various provinces along with their staff.

Indeed, in circumstances like these, BFP’s mission goes beyond firefighting to include a larger commitment to ensuring public safety. Let us continue to be of service to our nation and work towards a brighter future.

This momentous event was honored by the presence of our distinguished Guest of Honor and Speaker, Former President of the Republic of the Philippines, Hon. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, currently serving as the 2nd District Representative of Pampanga, along with Senator Imee R. Marcos as special guest.

During this event, BFP Central Luzon took the opportunity to honor the outstanding efforts of local executives and both private and public stakeholders for their unwavering support and dedication to the fire service.

Certainly, every goal is attainable if we remain dedicated, work collaboratively, and stay focused on moving forward.

07 AUGUST 2024 | PROVINCIAL ORIENTATION ON THE 2025 BEST POC AWARD

BFP Pampanga Provincial Office under the leadership of our Provincial Fire Marshal, FSSUPT ROMEO A PEPITO JR, DSC, along with the City and Municipal Marshals of Pampanga, attended the Provincial Orientation on the 2025 Best POC Award, spearheaded by the Honorable Governor DENNIS "DELTA" G. PINEDA and DILG Pampanga headed by Director Myra B Moral-Soriano, CESO V, held at Benigno Aquino Hall, Capitol Cmpd., City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The activity focused on the discussion of the updated indicators for the Best POC Award (PEACE MARKERS: Provincial Excellence Awards for LGU Champions on Effective Implementation of Peace and Order and Public Safety Programs Towards Sustainable Development of Communities).

The said activity aimed to equip local Peace and Order Councils (POCs) with a significant understanding of the award’s criteria. Further, this event served as the venue for any clarifications relative to the program's implementation next year.

The PEACE Markers, led by PPOC Chairperson Governor Pineda, will be implemented to recognize and reward local governments that demonstrate remarkable commitment to promoting peace, order, and public safety in their locality.
