Jesus, the Divine Healer Parish

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear friend and brother priest, Rev. Fr. Joel Lasin Ador, a priest of our Diocese and attached to the Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish, Aguirre Avenue, Phase III, BF Homes, Parañaque City. He joined our Creator yesterday, 15 May 2024 at 7:55 in the evening at the age of 69 years old and in his 42 years of priestly ministry.

His remains lie in state at Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish, BF Homes, Parañaque City. The wake will be held in the parish starting today, 16 May 2024, with daily Masses at 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass and interment will be communicated to all parish communities soon.

We invite all our brother priests, parishioners, and friends to join us in praying for Fr. Joel and to remember and celebrate his life and his invaluable service to the church. May we also offer our prayers for his bereaved family and relatives for comfort and strength.

Eternal rest grant unto Fr. Joel, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

YOU ARE ALL INVITED to join the Thanksgiving Prayer Meeting in celebration of the Birthday of the Church on May 19, PENTECOST SUNDAY, after the 6:00pm mass to be led by our Pastor, Fr. Gerry Mascariña.

Praise and worship songs will be rendered by members of the Parish Choir and the Prayer Community’s Music Ministry.

As one Community of faith, let us gather together on this special evening to adore and worship the HOLY SPIRIT on this glorious feast of the Holy Spirit’s Descent Upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary that marks the Birth of the Church.
