To show our love for our planet, last week, the Kinder students became Earth crusaders for a day. It was their mission to help Mother Earth by picking up the trash in the park near MGV Complex.

This was an activity done after the class discussed the harmful ways of man to Earth. They learned that everyone should take part in saving the only planet that we can live in. This brought awareness of how our ways could affect our surroundings.

We hope everyone can do his share to make our planet happy and healthy for our children and the future generations.😊🌎🌳

What started as a gloomy day ended up as a fun and “best-day-ever” experience for the students and their families. The morning rains did not stop us from feeling the love and joy of meeting each other and being with our families.

Science Week
Jan. 22-25, 2024

This week was all about doing experiments with the children. We were all scientists as we explored and did different experiments about the elements of the earth---air, fire, land, and water.

We started the week dressed as scientists and we culminated it with a Water Play Day. The children enjoyed the outdoors as we played games and explored water. Some played with water balloons, some with bubbles. Some practiced pouring water from one container to another. Some observed the sponge boats in water.

It was a delight watching the kids observe, predict, experience, explore, use their senses, practice critical thinking skills, and a lot more, all while having fun!

Good work, little scientists!👍🏼🤓

Our theme for last week’s Kinder class was “Saving Mother Earth.” Throughout the week, the Kinder students talked about some of the ways to save our planet. They learned about the different materials that garbage are made of. They learned to segregate trash into plastics, metal, paper and glass. They learned that waste segregation will greatly help the Earth reduce its garbage.

The students also had a “Clean Up Drive” along Cypress Street. They wore their caps, gloves and brought a trash bag and walked along the street and picked up the trash. They were determined to make the Earth a better place to live in.

We all believe that nobody else will take care of our Earth but us, and there is no better time to start than now.🌎🌱
