𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼: 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮

Matagumpay na naidaos ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa Don Honorio Ventura State University Porac Campus.

Napatunayan ng bawat isa na mayroon pang pag-asang maisakatuparan ang iwinika ng ating mahal na bayani, si Jose Rizal. Sapagkat kabataan pa rin ang magtataguyod ng ating kinabukasan, sila pa rin ang pag-asang inaasam-asam ng inang bayan.

Ilang taon na ang lumipas noong tayo'y nasa ilalim pa ng pamamahala ng ibang lahi na namumuno, ngunit nabigyang karapatan na maging malaya ang bansang ito. Kung kaya't mabuhay ang mga Pilipino, mabuhay ang wikang Filipino, mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

Iba't-ibang estilo, iisang layunin ang maghatid ng inspirasyon sa pamamagitan ng teknolohiya. Ang mga estudyanteng mula sa kursong 𝑩𝑺𝑰𝑻 ay nagtipon upang ipakita ang kanilang mga likhang sining gamit ang makabagong teknolohiya, bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika.

Ang bawat likha ay puno ng kulay, anyo, at imahinasyon, na naglalaman ng malalim na kahulugan at mensahe sa wikang Filipino. Sa bawat detalye at bahagi ng kanilang sining, ipinapahayag nila ang kanilang kasigasigan at pagkamalikhain, nagdadala ng bagong pananaw sa mundo ng makabagong sining. Sa bawat elemento ng kanilang gawa, isinasalaysay nila ang kanilang mga pangarap at pananaw para sa mas makulay na hinaharap.

| 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄

Kultura ng bawat lalawigan, naipakita at naitanghal ng mga mag-aaral ng ikatlong taon sa kolehiyo ng Don Honorio Ventura State University Porac Campus. Bawat miyembro ng grupo ay nagpamalas ng kahusayan sa bawat tiyempo, indak, at indayog sa kanta ng ating mga sariling katutubong sayaw. Higit pa rito, nagparanas din ng angking galing sa mga disenyo ng mga kasuotan at mga kagamitan ang mga ito. Hindi rin maikakailang napakakulay at kakaiba ngunit makahulugan ang ating mga natatanging kultura.

Kagaya na lamang ng pagnanais natin ng pagbabago, nawa'y hindi makalimutan ang bawat pinagmulan natin bilang isang mamamayang Pilipino.

| 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘀

Wikang Filipino, wikang pambansa, wikang ating pag-asa. Iilan lamang iyan sa mga iwinika ng bawat kalahok sa Sabayang Pagbigkas na nagbigay ng nakakatindig balahibong pagtatanghal. Hindi maipagkakailang pag-asa nga ng bayan ang bawat kabataan, sa kanilang pinakitang husay sa iba't-ibang larangan, mas napapayabong nito ang inaasam na pangarap para sa kinabukasang panglahat.

Sama sama, iisang tindig, kasabay ng pagkapit-bisig para sa iisang layunin. Wikang Filipino, ating pagyamanin, ito'y atin at hindi kailanman kayang nakawin.

Iba't-ibang boses, iisang tinig, tinig na sana'y marinig. Kung kaya't muling nagpayanig ang mga estudyanteng nagmula sa mga kurso ng BSBA, BSSW, at BSIT na kung saan nagparinig ng kani-kanilang mga sariling awitin.

Awitin ng pagmamahal, paghanga, at pagpapahalaga sa ating Wikang Pambansa. Punong puno ng paninindigan at determinasyon ang bawat tono o nota ng bawat kalahok. Na kung saan, sa bawat salita, kanilang pinalakas ang bawat sigaw ng mga pangarap na mas magandang bukas para sa ating lahat.

Lahat ng manlalaro ay nagmula sa ikalawang taon sa nasabing paaralan na nagsilbi ring tagapamahala ng naturang aktibidad.

Bawat seksyon ay mayroong mga kalahok na tunay na nagpamalas ng kanilang talento sa Patintero at Agawan ng Panyo.

Bagama't napakainit ng panahon, mainit din ang salubong ng mga ito sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong buwan ng Agosto.

ANNOUNCEMENT | Social Work Practicum 5th Pinning and Vesting Ceremony

"The Torch of Change is Passed: The 5th Pinning Ceremony Unfolds"

This act goes beyond the traditional embracing of an act deeply ritualistic and significant in transformation and purpose. As our students receive their pins and vests, they are not just recognizing their progress; rather, they make a solemn promise to take up the mantle for social justice, empathy, and advocacy. The moment is so touching; it brings them into symbols of hope, brightening a world often filled with need.

We are now gearing up for a very highlight event. We tag this activity as Social Work Practicum: 5th Pinning and Vesting Ceremony under the theme "The Metamorphosis: Students of Today, Change makers of Tomorrow." We shall be having a morning session from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porac Manpower Training Center on the 30th of August 2024. Morning session Guest speaker will be Ma’am, Jhoanne Marcelo Arcega, RSW and the Guest Honor will be Hon. Jaime Venzon Capil. Afternoon Session will be Ma'am, Keicy Palo Yusi, RSW and Guest Honor will be Hon. Francis Laurence Tamayo.

Guidelines for the Ceremony:
- Come and join us at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the program, so that the start of the whole event may be smooth and orderly.

- Please dispose of trash in the various garbage bags so that we may keep a clean decent atmosphere.

- To avoid any disruptions during the ceremony, please ensure that your mobile devices are silenced.

- We kindly ask all attendees to remain seated throughout the program, as this will help maintain the solemnity and dignity of the occasion.

- Formal or business attire is encouraged to be worn for respect and reverence since the event is important and professionalism is attached to it.

- Please respect the moment during the time of pinning, vesting, oath-taking, and candle-lighting by refraining from moving about and holding conversations.

- We do appreciate your wanting to keep memories, but please refrain from taking photos during important moments.

Each pin and vest is a symbol of their unwavering commitment to confront human challenges with compassion and to advocate for justice in every corner of society. This ceremony testifies that they are ready to become deeply involved in community, catalyze change, and carry hope and healing to those places that need these things the most. We shall truly be deep witnesses of the deepest powerful act of service, compassion, and making this world a better place that lies in making oaths and lighting candles.

Today, we celebrate their journey—a journey of excellence, blended with dedication in its true essence. We stand here together to honor their courage and rededicate our faith that they have what it will take to make this a better, fairer world through social service.

The nation reflects on the remarkable legacy of Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., a leader whose bravery made a significant impact on Philippine history. Aquino, who served as a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟳 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟮, was a symbol of resistance against tyranny. His tragic assassination on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟯, 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁—𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 after his death—following a three-year exile in the United States, served as a catalyst for a unified movement among Filipinos, eventually leading to the collapse of the Marcos dictatorship.

Today, as the country commemorates this day, it acknowledges how Aquino’s return to the Philippines marked a historic turning point. His arrival was not just a personal moment but one that carried the collective hopes of millions, with his sacrifice igniting a powerful unity across various sectors of society.

Ninoy Aquino's declaration, "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿," resonates even more profoundly today reminding us all of the enduring value of our shared identity and the collective responsibility to uphold the principles he so courageously fought for. It was also a testament to his willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice for his country's freedom and democracy.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | An adjustment to the graduation schedule for regular campuses of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was made, as announced by the Office of the Vice President for the Academic Affairs (OVPAA).

As per the updated schedule, graduates from the Apalit, Candaba, and Sto. Tomas campuses will have their commencement rites in the morning of August 16, followed by the Lubao, Mexico, and Porac campuses that are scheduled in the afternoon.
