After a two-day-long knight-to-knight elimination and crossover rounds, new queen woodpushers have been coronated after defending their stronghold and expediting tactics at the University Learning Center, on November 30.
Aira May Balancio, one of the facilitators, acknowledged the profound dedication of patriarchs for being standstill after being narrowed down to 16 from 70 players down to the new ruling queens, coming from different colleges and campuses.

Meanwhile, Mica Dela Cruz from DHVSU Candaba snitched the bronze after the highly contested tiebreaker.
2. Elastico queen Sydney Magat solely represented CEA in the finals and bagged gold after dominating all of three empires.
"First time ko lang mag intrams ngayon, kaya masaya at hindi makapaniwala kasi hindi ko rin ine-expect na maggo-gold" Magat said.
While, CCS princess Roselyn Bitangcol secured the 2nd spot and DCC Daizel Liene Sonza pocketed bronze for protecting one out of three empires.
3. Marjorie Dichoso from DHVSU Porac Campus (DPC) won over the others after undeniably tactics making her the queen of Board 3.
As CBS hailed Princess Dhaniella Samala after securing silver as she fortified two out of three dynasties.
Almost away to the podium but DCC Ma. Jastine Capulong left untarnished securing bronze for her triumph.
4. Bangkok, Thailand โ Two Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS InfoTech) students from Don Honorio Ventura State University โ Porac Campus (DPC) represented the University at the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) International Data Hack for Sustainability held at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand last November 21 to 25, 2023.
Fourth-year BS InfoTech students Danica Jane B. De Chavez and Ma Angela Rose L. Rivera were endorsed and nominated by DHVSU to attend the event.
The three-day program focused on key topics such as Business Framework, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Design Thinking, and Value Proposition.
โI would like to express my gratitude to DHVSU for this big opportunity to learn and experience such a meaningful event that will surely contribute to my growth and will definitely equip us for the future. The ATU-Net International Data Hack for Sustainability is one of the best and most remarkable journeys I had in my life, definitely a superb experience, one that we will never forget,โ De Chavez shared in an interview.
Student participants from various universities in the ASEAN region joined in workshops and mentoring sessions to foster collaboration in research and technology development.
โI'm very lucky to be part of that meaningful event. For a first-timer, I know it's a big help for my growth. That's why I'm very grateful to my beloved university for the opportunity to join. The conference was a big challenge but a wonderful experience that we will never forget,โ Rivera stated as she told her experience.

DHVSU Porac Campus (DPC) stole the spotlight right when it mattered most after fending-off an early meltdown to hack out an astonishing, 2-1, triumph over the College of Industrial Technology, grasping the gold medal of 2023 DHVSU Intramurals Menโs Futsal Tournament, held at San Vicente Covered Court, November 30.
DPCโs Mark Cedric Catacutan spearheaded the comeback charge for the delegates from Porac as he tallied two goals including the game-winning penalty kick.
Porac Campus dethroned the defending champion College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) in the semi-finals with a 1-0 victory.
In an interview, DPC players expressed their delight as communication became their key in clinching the sweet success, concluding an intense battle for championship this season.
With the game tied at 1 a-pice, the game turn into a see-saw one as both teams attempted to find the back of the goal but the flawless defense showcased by both ends didnโt allowed them to.
However, a foul committed by CIT due to Porac campus' aggressive attacks served as the catalyst that turned the boat in the different direction, as Catacutan successfully converted the penalty kick to be in the driverโs seat, controlling the rest of the match, 2-1.
San Vicente Covered Court has been filled with deafening cheers from spectators as CIT had their early goal, igniting momentum, but DPC regained track of the rail to equalize the game.
Art Ian Enriquez from the College of Industrial Technology, stressed that their team's lack of defense made a way for the opponent to target them at their weakness.
In addition, according to Mr. Jobert Manuel, Futsal game supervisor, the awarding will take place later today at the main campus.

In a stunning-display of prowess, the undefeated runner from Porac Campus, Miguel Gabriel Bulado roared the crowd as he secured yet another gold in a thrilling 5000-meter run with a record time 15:45 during the intramurals 2023 held inside DHVSU main campus.
Following the dominating distance of Bulados, Prince Jasiem Cata of College of Business Studies displayed a remarkable run securing silver medal with a record of 16:26.
Meanwhile, the pride of Reserve Officers' Training Corps' Niรฑo Sunga bagged the bronze with a record of 17:18.
Supposedly Sunga will only be the one in the last seat but during the awarding ceremony the committee of athletics confirmed that the third placed is tied together with the runner from DHVSU Candaba Campus.

With artful repertoire and patterned prowess, Julleo Castro from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) once again dominated the center stage as he reaps 9.96 points in Men's Division Sword and Dagger battle at Laboratory High School (LHS) Girls Trade Building, November 28.
Castro, who seized the gold in the 2023 SUC III Olympics in Men's Synchronize Non-Traditional Double Weapon along with Villamiel Tiongson and Michael Nicdao just barely roused on top as close challenges came-up his way.
Igniting the battlefield with artful maneuvering, Cedric Franz Malonzo of College of Education (COE) narrowly missed the top spot after coming up 0.06 points shy of the gold medal with 9.9 points as he settled with silver.
Meanwhile, DHVSU Porac Campus (DPC) pride Gilbert Galvez placed third with 9.6 points.

College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) mainstay Michael John Mel Nicdao poised dominance in showcasing artful play of swords and moves to snare an unblemished straight ten points and take home the gold medal in the 2023 DHVSU Intramurals Arnis Men's Anyo Double Weapon Tournament, November 28 at Laboratory High School (LHS) Girls Trade Building.
In an interview with the Industrialist, Nicdao shared lack of preparation in the game as they werenโt excused from academic activities and attendance to practice and hone their craft, and so they were left out with the only option to prepare their act on their own houses.
Meanwhile, Gilbert Galvez the lone representative of DPC in Anyo competition didnโt back down as he missed a very small margin to nab silver medal with 9.8 points, whereas, Stefano Domingo of DHVSU Lubao Campus (DLC) exhibited astounding acts to land in bronze with 9.6 points.

Riding high on exceptional moves and vibrant energy, College of Education (COE) arnisador Cedric Franz Malonzo capped off the tourney on a high note after hitting the mark much a little closer to hack-out an impeccable 9.8 points and seal the gold in the 2023 DHVSU Intramurals Arnis Men's Anyo Single Weapon Tournament, on November 28, held at Laboratory High School (LHS) Girls Trade Building.
"Actually, matagal ko na 'tong ginogoal, na mag gold pero hindi ko inexpect na maggo-gold ako kasi nagkasakit ako due to pressure tsaka marami akong ginagawa kumbaga parang nag-overload na sa ano ko... Naano ako talaga, natumba ako, nag collapse ako, na-hospital talaga ako no'n, dinala ako sa ER kasi dahil na rin sa pagod, dahil sa training pero ayun, hindi ko expect na maggo-gold ako," Malonzo said in an interview about his journey coming up into the competition.
Coming in second place is DHVSU Porac Campus (DPC) Gilbert Galvez who was just 0.8 shy of victory, establishing 9.73 points to take home the silver while Lyle Leony Pangilinan of College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) was relegated to bronze with 9.7.
