Kasabay din ng selebrasyong ito ang Philippine Veterans Week. Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon natin sa pagiging makabansa ang kagitingan at kabayanihan ng ating mga Pilipinong beterano.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF PORAC MODEL COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL

In response to the FALSE and FAKE NEWS circulating on various social media pages, Porac Model Community High School would like to inform the public of the ff:

1. That the school received thru it's official webpage a "bomb threat" from a dummy account which was immediately acted upon by PMCHS school officials by reporting it to the PNP Porac MPS who coordinated the inspection of the school premises and facilities to the PNP EOD and Canine Unit and reported the incident to the PNP Cyber Crime Unit at Camp Olivas.

2. The incident was also reported to the Local Government Unit of Porac for appropriate action.

3. That the PNP PECU conducted "sanitising" (clearing) activities using a canine dog and found nothing (no bomb/explosives of whatever nature and kind) in the school premises. Thus, concluding the school to be SAFE and SECURE.

4. In lieu of face to face classes, the school conducted online and modular class on April 3-5, 2023 to ensure the safety of the learners, teachers and stakeholders. These learning modalities were adopted to prevent learning losses.

5. That the PNP Porac MPS and the Cyber Crime Unit of Camp Olivas are conducting their investigation and doing everything within their means to apprehend the culprit behind this "bomb scare”.

6. That the PNP Porac MPS together with the Cyber Crime Unit of Camp Olivas are in full coordination in apprehending and in identifying the identity of the culprit through third party social media (Facebook).

7. That this incident is NOT IN ANY WAY RELATED to the "refusal of the school to admit for enrolment a student who has just undergone kidney transplant and currently in the process of recovery as posted on Tokwing Model Community Page”.

Finally, PMCHS School Officials would like to inform the public to be cautious of fake news being spread thru social media to which the purpose of it is to cause confusion and disinformation.

Today, Porac Model Community High School School Officials headed by Mrs. Rita DL. Cunanan, with the help/assistant of PLTCOL Palmyra Guardaya, Chief of Police MPS Porac, Members of PNP PECU headed by PMSG Bautista conducted "sanitising activities" of the school premises/facilities to ensure the safety of students, parents, teachers and stakeholder from any form of harm.
The school would like to extend also it's gratitude to Mayor Jaime Capil and Brgy. Captain Melchor Canlapan for the help extended to our academic community.
The school has calibrated its safety protocols/procedures and practices to ensure the well-being of the entire members of the academic community.
