I’m proud to have Dr. Marysia Tiongco-Recto as a classmate and friend. One of the best in our class!
Dra. Tiongco-Recto answers the most common questions by patients regarding the COVID-19 vaccines.

Great article for people who are more afraid of the vaccine's side effects than of COVID-19 itself!

Why Doctors Feel Happy To Get Symptoms From The Covid-19 Vaccine When doctors got sore arms, fatigue, muscle aches or fevers after their Covid-19 vaccine, they celebrated.
Just had my Sinovac shot #1 yesterday at National Kidney and Transplant Institute... so far no side effects except a vague and mild pain on the injection site... 😄👍🏻

UROLOGY TELEMEDICINE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
1. I don't live in the Philippines, may I still consult?
- Yes, but it is not legal for us to give out any test requests or prescriptions to non-Philippine residents. We may give only general advise. We are also not liable legally for anything that occurs after following such advise. If this is understood and you still wish to consult, then proceed.
2. How do I pay for the telemedicine consultation?
- We accept major credit cards or debit cards as well as PayMaya. GCash & direct PayMaya available upon request. Message for other methods.
3. How much is the consultation fee?
- This is subject to change anytime. Please see: bit.ly/2LaxJVs
4. Can you give me a prescription for my condition?
- Yes, but prescriptions, by law, require a formal consultation so that a Patient-Physican relationship can be established. This is to ensure privacy of information, maximization of the evaluation, and the prescription may be issued legally.
5. I'm having problems booking & I need someone to help me personally by phone?
- You may call Ms. Amor Acuzar Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm PhST at +63 999 667 6515.
6. Ok, so I have booked my appointment. What do I need to prepare?
a. Make sure you’ve downloaded the NowServing by SeriousMD app using the link you received via email or SMS. If you haven’t received anything, its probably because you entered the wrong cell number or email address. If so, message us here at m.me/doctoryusi and we’ll send it.
b. Make sure all test results are on hand and ready for viewing. It is also useful, if you can photograph/scan the results and upload them through FB Messenger (m.me/doctoryusi), or have them ready in your phone’s photo album app so you can send it during the telemedicine consult.
c. Wear headphones. The ones that came with your cellphone will work, even on laptops.
d. If on WiFi, ask other users to refrain from using streaming activities like Netflix or YouTube while you're on the telemed consult.
e. Find a place that is private and well-lit so the doctor can see you clearly and if needed, you may need to show parts of your body.
