At the beginning of this month, the Ateneo’s Community of Third Culture Kids (ACT) held their annual TCK Week 🥳 Together with ASEC, the growing community showcased the different realities of TCKs through a series of videos and their TCKaibigan Mixer 💃🏻

Third Culture Kids from all over the world were able to meet and mingle through fun games and a fruitful round-table discussion on the experiences of being a part of a global community 🌏

Moving forward, we hope to foster a campus culture that celebrates empathy through diversity of all our members, no matter TCK, International Member, or Local Member 🧡

Over the course of February, ASEC and Ateneo Hinomoto had the chance to interact with students from three visiting Japanese Universities namely Toyo University, Fukuoka Women’s University, and Tsukuba University. 🇯🇵

Both local and foreign students participated in various games 🎉, icebreakers 🧊, and culture talks 🗣️ that showcased the uniqueness of the two cultures interacting with each other.

We hope 🙏 that the following interactions this March will continue the enjoyment 🎊 and excitement of fostering cultural exchange 🌐. Thank you very much ASEC Ambassadors and Hinomoto Members!

Gathered in the midst of the warmth of the holiday season, we celebrated a heartwarming pajama party send-off dinner for the international exchange students. 🎄✨

Last December 6, Ateneo’s Office of the Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and Internationalization (OAVP-UPI) hosted a festive Christmas party with the assistance of the students from the Ateneo Student Exchange Council (ASEC).
