To further enhance the healthcare experience of the expatriates, DLSMC launched its International Patient Services (IPS) last May 28, 2024. The IPS promises to extend DLSMC's world-class care and comfort to these patients.

Likewise, DLSMC also formalized its partnership with the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) on the same day. Led by PRA's General Manager/CEO Roberto Z. Zozobrado, PRA's Head of Accreditation Unit for Merchant Partners/Retirement Facilities Jose Nazareth Delas Alas, DLSMC's President and CEODr. Almario G. Jabson, and DLSMC's AVP for Strategic Marketing and Business Development Carmen N. Soriano, the MOU was officially signed with the IPS becoming the gateway for the partnership.

Among the attendees were DOH Undersecretary Dr. Maria Francia M. Laxamana, representatives from International Partners like BrightCare Assist Inc. and Take Care Insurance, and representatives from Partner Providers Medika Services & Global Assistance, Go! Travel Philippines, Novotel Manila Araneta City, and iBis Styles Manila Araneta City.

Held at the DLSMC's Presidential Lounge, the contract signing event and key turnover were successfully completed. Among the attendees were the Chairmen of the Departments, Section and Unit heads, as well as the Medi Linx' executives and staff.

The partnership strengthens DLSMC's service core of providing 'Alaga't Kalinga' as it allows the access to Medi Linx's comprehensive array of more than 400 laboratory procedures, as well optimization of DLSMC's laboratory operations, which will improve patient care.

Jackilyn Rose N. Tabud, a registered nurse stationed at the 2nd floor of the main building of De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) was recognized by The DAISY Foundation.

The DAISY Award given by The DAISY Foundation is an express of gratitude to nurses for providing compassionate care to patients and their families.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dr. Wilhelmino Villanueva. Dr. Villanueva was an active consultant at De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) since 1990. The Department of Pediatrics, together with the whole institution, grieves for his loss.

His remains lie in state for viewing at Chapel Mercy A and B of Loyola Memorial Chapels & Crematorium in Quezon City, Commonwealth Ave. His interment will be on May 30, 2024 at Himlayang Pilipino Memorial Park.

In line with the celebration of the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) and Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC) participated in the 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚. 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚. 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝. 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Quezon City (PCCI-QC) last Saturday, April 13, 2024.


𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝗜𝗜, 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧, 𝙉𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙩 - 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙚𝙘𝙠 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝘿𝙇𝙎𝙈𝘾, provided an insightful talk about the importance of taking care of the throat and voice─ noting that it is the bread and butter of the instructors of CBRC. Additionally, schedules for consultations and laryngoscopy procedures with DLSMC ENT Specialists were made available.


Subsequently, DLSMC and CBRC formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU outlines CBRC's integration into DLSMC's service offerings, encompassing medical assistance for its affiliates, partners, and member organizations. Similarly, DLSMC commits to catering to CBRC's affiliates, partners, and member organizations by providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, including surgical procedures, emergency care, diagnostic testing, ancillary services, and catheterization laboratory services.
