ADVISORY

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

The impacts of extreme heat caused by the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) calls for the conduct of Risk Assessment to the vulnerable sectors of our community, which include our learning or educational institutions.

This Risk Assessment shall serve as our basis in recommending adaptive and mitigating measures amidst this climate emergency toward safer learning institutions.

To allow this initial impact assessment in schools, ALL FACE -TO-FACE CLASSES in both public and private institutions are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED effective April 3 – 5, 2024 in San Carlos City.

Schools are enjoined to proceed with the approved alternative mode of learning in order to allow continuous education among affected institutions.

Calling all out-of-school youth, and students out of the regular age bracket, Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) is back.
Deadline of submission is February 13, 2024.

The following are those who are qualified to take

Grade 7 - ages 14 and up
Grade 8 - ages 15 and up
Grade 9 - ages 16 and up
and out-of-school youths.

Below are the list of requirements upon application

1. Duly accomplished PEPT form (can be secured at school records office)
2. Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
3. School Form 10 (SF10) / Form 137 duly signed by school principal.
4. 2 pcs. 1x1 recent picture
