The CICOSAT ROTC UNIT conducted its 3rd training day of 15th training days for the Second Semester A.Y 2023-2024 with 321 Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes under the supervision of Ssg Jommel Tacata (Inf) PA, Admin NCO of CICOSAT ROTC UNIT, GMA and Advance ROTC Cadets and Caddetes at CICOSAT COLLEGES - Covered Court.

At 0730H, the assigned platoon leaders checked the attendance. After accounting for the Basic ROTC Cadets, the training began with element counting, after which each platoon proceeded to their respective assigned area. At 1200H, they had a lunch break.

At 1330H, they proceed to their designated areas. Comprehensive rehearsals were made throughout the training on the ceremonial parade, company drills, Small Unit Tactics, Arrival of Honor, Map Reading

At 1630, the training day ends productively and progressively.

The CICOSAT ROTC UNIT conducted its 2nd training day of 15th training days for the Second Semester A.Y 2023-2024 with 419 Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes under the supervision of Ssg Jommel Tacata (Inf) PA, Admin NCO of CICOSAT ROTC UNIT, GMA and Advance ROTC Cadets and Caddetes at CICOSAT COLLEGES - Covered Court.

At 0730H, the assigned platoon leaders checked the attendance. After accounting for the Basic ROTC Cadets, the training began with element counting, they continued the enrollment of the Basic ROTC Cadets, after which each platoon proceeded to their respective assigned area. Furthermore, the cadets began learning about their designated events for this year's RAATI. Every event has an ROTC cadet to teach and supervise each platoon. The Advance ROTC Cadets share their knowledge and skills with the basic cadets. At 1200H, they had a lunch break.

At 1330H, they proceed to their designated areas. Comprehensive rehearsals were made throughout the training on the ceremonial parade, company drills, Small Unit Tactics, and Arrival of Honor.

At 1545H, the training day ends productively and progressively.

𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 (𝐂𝐎𝐐𝐂) 𝐂𝐋 𝟎𝟏-𝟐𝟒

Aspirants' physical and mental toughness were put to the test last 03 February 2024, during reception rites at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC). It consists of 25 Cadets and Cadettes from DMMMSU-MLUC ROTCU and 38 Cadets and Cadettes from CICOSAT ROTCU, for a total of 63 aspirants. The event was overseen, coordinated, and led by TSg Lenardo Gragasin (Inf) PA, Admin NCO of the DMMMSU-MLUC ROTC Unit, and PFC Jerico Fx R Saldua (QMS) PA, Assistant Admin of the CICOSAT ROTC Unit, under the leadership of COL ANTONIO V BURTON, Director of the 103rd CDC RESCOM PA. Dr. Gaudencio Yari N. Andaya Jr., CICOSAT NSTP Head, and other personnel of 103rd Community Defence Center.

The CL 01-21 and CL 01-22 hosted a traditional reception ceremony to welcome the new leaders and familiarize them with the ROTC officers' lifestyle and customs. Before beginning training, a brief but meaningful ceremony is held to assess their physical strength and stability. Afterwards, COL. ANTONIO V BURTON, Director of the 103rd CDC RESCOM PA, as keynote speaker, declares the opening and closing remarks. He emphasized the importance of ROTC programs that teach students discipline and teamwork while also developing their leadership abilities, which would help them in their future professions.

On the other hand, the CICOSAT ROTC UNIT conducted their 1st Training Day and Enrollment for the 2nd semester of academic year 2023-2024 under the supervision of Ssg Jommel Tacata (Inf) PA, Admin NCO of CICOSAT ROTC UNIT, GMA and Advance ROTC Cadets and Caddetes at CICOSAT COLLEGES - Covered Court.

At 100H, Pass in review were performed by the Advance ROTC Cadets and Cadettes and dismounted drills were continuously taught to them.

The said activity was indeed a success.

The CICOSAT ROTC Unit conducted its 5th training day of 15th Training days A.Y. 2023-2024 with 497 Basic ROTC Cadets with the supervision of PFC Jerico Fx R Saldua (QMS) PA, Admin NCO, Training Staff and Advance ROTC Cadets at CICOSAT COLLEGES-Covered Court.

At 0730H, DRD Romeo Toribo, Sir Fredrick Lacaba, and Sir Greg Bautista of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA-R1), conducted lectures on PEACE EDUCATION and NATIONAL SECURITY CONCERN focusing on "Orientation on Youth and Students Recruitment by the Communist Terrorist Group" at the end of the lecture the Basic ROTC Cadets are given the opportunity to ask their questions and clarifications on the said subject matter. The said activity ended at exactly 1000H. Furthermore, dismounted drills were continuously taught to them before the said training day ended.
The said training day was indeed a success.
