The theme for World Su***de Prevention Day is βChanging the Narrative on Su***deβ. It aims to inspire individuals, communities, organizations, and governments to engage in open and honest discussions about su***de and suicidal behaviour. By initiating these vital conversations, we can break down barriers, raise awareness, and create better cultures of understanding and support.
As individuals, communities, organisations, and government, we all have roles to play in changing the narrative on su***de. By addressing these areas and working collaboratively across sectors, we can create a more supportive and compassionate society where su***de is preventable, and everyone feels valued and understood.

By showing that you care, you can help give someone hope. All of us can play a role, no matter how small. We may never know what action makes a difference, but we all have the ability to reach in and ask somebody how they are doing.

Have you ever heard the saying, "How you love yourself is how you teach other people to love you"? Itβs a powerful reminder that self-love sets the standard for how we allow others to treat us. Remember, the love you give yourself sets the tone for the love you receive from others. By treating yourself with kindness, respect, and compassion, you show the world how you deserve to be treated.
