The CSTC Junior High School Department conducted a storytelling contest on December 7, 2023, at the Junior High School Library & Media Center. The participants showcased their skills in storytelling and wowed the judges with their spectacular performances.

Junior High School Chemistry Laboratory

After the second round of the game, the top ten participants with the highest score continued their fight and advanced to the final round. The final round measures their speed in reading and their comprehension of what they read. The participant with the highest score and the fastest reader in this round will be hailed as the ultimate library wizard.

Junior High School Library & Media Center

After the first round of the game, only nineteen out of forty students had advanced to the second round. The second round of the game is called Library Adventure, wherein the remaining participants need to answer twenty questions. They can only get the answer from the materials available in the library, like reference books, multimedia resources, handbooks, etc. The top ten participants with the highest score will advance to the final round of the game.

Junior High School activity area

The first ever Search for the Library Wizard just concluded. There's a total of three rounds for this game. The first round is the quiz bee, wherein the junior high school students have a showdown of knowledge and wit about the CSTC Library. The questions given were based on the library orientation during the general orientation of the junior high school department. Out of 40 participants, only 19 students had advanced to the second round of the game.

The CSTC Junior High School Library & Media Center, in collaboration with the Junior High School Language Department, and Student Librarians Club officially opened the 89th National Book Week with the theme “Read. Reread. Relive.” and STARBOOKS launching held at the Junior High School Library & Media Center.

During the flag ceremony, the Student Librarians Club were introduced. Followed by the 'Kapehan sa Silid Aklatan' which was attended by the faculty members and some students who savoured their coffee and listened to the STARBOOKS orientation.

Activities like "Library Pamphlet Making Contest," "Search for the Library Wizard," and "Story Book Writing Contest" are scheduled.
