Construction of BARMM’s first-ever international airport mulled The Bangsamoro government and local officials in Sultan Mastura, Maguindanao del Norte have forged an agreement to jointly study the viability of setting up an international airport in the municipality, the first ever in the autonomous region if constructed as planned.

The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) hereby adopts Department of Education memorandum dated 12 April 2024 from the Office of Undersecretary for Operations Atty. Revsee A. Escobedo and Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Atty. Michael Wesley T. Poa re: Implementation of Asynchronous Classes/Distance Learning on April 15 to 16, 2024, which reads:
In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of the school year is fast approaching, all public schools nationwide (in our case, within BARMM) shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15 and 16, 2024. Private schools shall be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.
Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.
However, activities organized by the Regional and shools division offices (RSPC and RFOT in BARMM) and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

In view of the remaining last 7 days of Ramadhan, the LGU Sultan Mastura leadership enjoins our people in the celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadhan, and adopts Asynchronous Classes in all school levels from April 3 to April 12, 2024. Regular classes will resume on April 15, 2024.

The surging and stinging heat of the sun brought by EL- NiñO, prompt us to modify the classes from school to house using flexible schedules of online methods and modules to ensure the safety and health of our students and all concerns.
